Yeah, it does sound like a girl name because it ends with an "a." Reminds me of my spanish learning days when anything feminine ended with an "a" instead of an "o". I like Kaleb and Irish/Celtic names like Aiden and Ian, but these names are quite common. A person I know is going to name her son Cyrus/Sirus (I'm not sure what the spelling is. Good luck with naming your baby!
--edit--
I know of a person who named their son Brayden.

i like the call Cheyenne for a woman. yet naming a boy Cyrus is like naming a woman Ursyla, there like from outer area or some thing. apart from a boy would desire to be named Hayden, that's what im gonna call my first boy & Breanna for a woman.

i would go to some websites and see depending on your ethnicity. it's always good to get a unique name right from where your family is from. plus, usually names like that arent typical.

Don't give you son a crazy name. He will hate you for it. I do home daycare and most of the time I get kids with crazy names and I just call them "hey you" cuz I cant remember the name. So don't do that to your kid. Call him Austin, that is my husbands name and I love it. lol

No please don't name your son Sora. Okay unique names, well I don't know how unique these are, but I like them:

Dillion
Alex
Nathan
Blaze
Kalim
Drago
