I missed a pill early on in my cycle. I was meant to be due for my period tuesday, but it still hasn't come. I am never late, even if i've missed a pill. Through the week my breasts have been tender, and I have had a horrible sensation in my stomach and a taste in my mouth like I am constantly about to throw up. I did a pregnancy test early and it said negative, then I did 2 yesterday, one said positive the other negative. I was feeling these symptoms before I even realised I was late. I can't get to see a doctor until next week. Is it possible to be pregnant and feel it this early? I have always been able to feel my period, when it starts to happen all the way through. This feeling is completely unlike any I have ever felt. I feel really happy, but totally scared at the same time. Would missing the pill have pushed back my ovulation? Could I be really pregnant?

Ok well I think a couple of things and they are going to send you mixed messages so bear with me LOL!
First of all-if you were really due for your period on Tuesday that means you had sex only three days before your scheduled cycle day and it was probably not during your normal ovulation period which is typically half way between your two cycles. Now that does not mean you are not pregnant but it does mean that you are less likely to get pregnant.
Also if you have been taking the pill regularly except for that one day chances are that you are not and that if you by some chance were that it killed off the sperm before you became pregnant.

Now this is very early to be experiencing symptoms. Is it possible that you could have gotten pregnant at a different point in the month. Not to scare you but I got pregnant with my first child when I was on the pill. A pill that I had been on for three years and NEVER missed one. Sometimes it happens. I have actually gotten pregnant with two of my children while on some sort of birth control...Did you have sex any other time of the month even when you didnt miss a pill?
Or did you have sex when you havent had sex for awhile? Sometimes just having sex again after going without for a long time can cause your cycle to be delayed or come early or do all kinds of weird things.
Or it is possible that your body is fighting something. Which can lead to a delayed cycle.

These are all early pregnancy symptoms yes. Though you wouldnt even be a week pregnant (it takes a couple days for the sperm to actually do what it needs to do) and that is way too early in a normal case. And they are also symptoms of your cycle especially when it is late.

Also as far as the tests...it is very common to get a false negative. It takes your body awhile to build up the pregnancy hormone. It is not common to get a false positive. BUT there is a chance that the one test was faulty. Especially if you have been using the same brand for all three.
Point is I do not think you are but you could be. You should get to the doctor. It might be too early to know for sure but they could help you!

~~If you took that pregnancy test and you were taking the pill there is a chance you could have got a false negative... the pill puts the HCG hormone in your system to try to fool your system into thinking it is pregnant so that you do not ovulate, however, it is not 100% effective and even if you don't miss any pills you are taking a chance of pregnancy. it is possible that by missing a pill it could have messed up your schedule some, but your best bet rather than looking for a diagnosis on the internet, go to your doctor, and have a blood test done. if it comes up negative you bought yourself some peace of mind, and if you find out you are pregnant, celebrate!~~

Just relax and give it a few days. If you do not have your period by the end of the month than worry. Stress can be a reason for your period being late. Stop worring and you should start your cycle again.

You said you did two tests yesterday and one came up positive. That means you are pregnant even if you get 5 negatives after 1 positive - POSITIVE TEST = PREGNANCY

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

YOu could be but chances are you arent but usually tests wont show your prego if your really not, they have to detect a hormone in your urine that your body only produces when your expecting, early tests never show for me but everyone is different.. Relax and enjoy your gift if you are prego

Yes, you could be pregnant. Birth control is only 99.9% effective if you take it every day at the same time. Go see your doctor.
