My name is Kelly, and I always hated that every 3rd girl in school had the same name as I did! Wouldn't you think that a name not in common usage would help to set your child apart?

Cielo- pronounced See-ay-low-, emphasis on the second syllable.

Latin, means "celestial".

Professional sounding names... boys preferred?
I need help figuring out some names to suggest to a friend... She wants something professional sounding... She has Pierce, Preston, Carter, Cullen, Houston, and Jase so far.... What do you think? Can you name more professional sounding names (boys preferred but girls too)?

I think Jase isn't that professional sounding, but I like it. Houston is kind of odd, kind of not. If some child told me that was his name I wouldn't know what to think of his mom, if she's from Houston and is paying tribute or she's some young girl who decided to name him after the controversial one hit wonder singer, Houston.

They're names are all of Celtic/Irish origin, and they're all girl names.

Bec (rhymes with "deck")- means "little one"

Aideen (aid-een)- feminine form of "Aidan" meaning "little fire"

Cera (keer-ra, like "keira")- means "friend"

Orna (or-nah)- means "little one"

My favourite is Bec, but it seems kinda short for a first name. I really love Cera Aideen and Orna Bec as names.

Your opinions please!

Thanks :)

Cute? Not? Elise is staying! But I would love to see what other first names sound cute with Elise... Im not very creative! =) Also I like lynn at the end because an old family friend past away recently and his middle name was Lynn. I dont like it for a middle name but I do like it!

Also, what spelling do you like? (Jaelyn, Jailyn, Jaylin, Jaylyn, etc.) I'm concerned about the second spelling because of the "Jail" is in it.
