My boyfriend and I have been discussing names for our children once we get married. We both liked the name Riley...what do you think?

I agree with the above posters---if you use one unisex name, balance it with a name (first or middle) that is distinctly masculine or feminine as the case may be. It will provide more balance.

Both names could be unisex, if you want to make it more feminine you can call her Riley Elizabeth or spell it Riley JordYn.

I like the names by the way.

I love Riley and I like Jordan, but not together.

Awful. Sorry. Sounds more like a lad - the female Jordan that springs to mind is the tarty one that's paired with Peter Andre. I think Riley's ugly, esp for a girl.

Still, plenty of time to think a bit harder.

Riley is my second favorite girl name!

Jordan is okay, but I don't like it paired with Riley. The reason being is that Riley is a unisex name and so is Jordan. When you pair them together it makes the whole name seem more boyish.

I like Riley Ann, Riley Kate, and Riley Brooke :-)

I like them both seperately but together are "too much" . Since they are both unisex names I think you should use one or the other and have a gender specific middle name-
Riley Michele
Riley Joseph
Jordon Marie
Jordon Paul
Or whatever, but I think they are best used apart.

Both were boy names not too long ago so I'd rethink using both together. Kind of like Ashley--used to be a boys name!
