My husband is a pilot and aviation mechanic and loves airplanes so we are kinds leaning in that direction. His father used to fly a Cessna and had to make an emergency landing and passed away. If we name our girl Cessna is that torture or cute?

My husband and I are still trying to settle on a baby boy name (just preparing). Of course we were being very silly and coming up with absolutely ridiculous things and somehow got on the subject of naming him some kind of profession (Plumber! Professor! Barista!).

Out of nowhere he says, "Apothecary".

Now, this would *never* be a name we'd actually give a child (it's just ridiculous and can't be shortened into anything even resembling a real name), but the rhythm of the word along with our single-syllable last name sounded fantastic. We searched for other 5 syllable names but goodness, they were frightening (and generally unpronounceable).

We also thought there was a movie or show with a character name Something Something Jones (not Indiana) that had a similar feel but couldn't remember it.

Any suggestions on a (real) boy name with a similar feel, rhythm, or sound to "Apothecary"? Serious names only, please.

I hope we have a girl first because that name was easy!

is naming their kid Aiden or Jayden.
would you say it's cuz of Britney Spears?

Okay, well the doctor said I was going to have a boy, and I think I'm going with the name Elijah James, but what happens if it's a girl. You see, my daughter, Abellina, is a girl (obviously). But I REALLY dont like the name (no offense to anyone). His mom died about ten years ago. I told him if baby ends up being a girl I dont have a problem with baby's middle name being Cynthia. I just dont want or like it as the first name, I've never liked it. What should I do or say? We find out the gender of baby on Christmas Eve at 11am. Thanks!
