It's such a pretty name! I've seen girls who use the name Cory, which I think is way too masculine for a girl (though, on a boy, I've always thought it a bit too feminine - don't know why lol) - something about the r and the y bother me lol. Corrie is so much prettier and feminine lol. And like other people have said, it's a great nickname for tons of more formal names: Cora, Coralie, Corinne, Corinna, Cordelia, Cornelia, Coral, etc.

Good luck!!

My initial reaction to seeing the name Corrie was that of the geeky guy who doesn't get the girl in a bad 80s movie.

If you have your heart set on the name, maybe opt for a Corrine or something with Corrie as the nickname - at least that way she'll have the option to go with her full name if she doesn't like it.

Also, there's a show called Corey in the House about a chubby black boy whose dad is the executive chef for the president - not that it means anything, necessarily, but it's important to look at what other popular characters share the name. Hannah Montana is the reason we opted against the name Hannah, despite really loving the name.

I love it. I think using names that most people think of as boy names for a girl is pretty cool. I knew a girl named Corrie and she was beautiful. The name really suited her.

Corrie with this spelling is traditionally a girls name anyway, it's a pretty and unusual name rarely found outside of irish or scottish families. I like it but I am biased as it's my sisters name!

I love it. It reminds me of Corrie ten Boom, the courageous woman from Holland who hid Jews form the Nazis during WWII. She was caught, arrested, and suffered in a concentration camp, and later shared all over the world about the brave people who gave their lives to help others.

Corrie is a noble, honorable name.

Corrie is a nice name. You name your baby girl whatever you want. She's your baby, so my opinion should not even matter.

It makes me think of Corey, and everyone with that name and pronounced like that that I have ever met has been a male, so for a girl, I would not name her that... She might get made fun of but you want to prevent your child from every possible attack.
