Rose is lovely, and far less expected as a first name, and of course Elizabeth is always a classic choice. ;) I don't find it "too drab" in the least, but you could always use a less common middle name along those same lines if it's a concern.

Rose Adelaide
Rose Felicity
Rose Eleanor
Rose Leanora/Lenora
Rose Matilda
Rose Claribel
Rose Emeline
Rose Evangeline
Rose Cordelia
Rose Millicent
Rose Penelope

You get the idea. ;)

I think it is a great name. Too many people are using Rose as a "filler" middle name and it is losing its beauty that way. Rose is a gorgeous first name and paired with Elizabeth it is all the more classically beautiful. Best of luck to you - it's not drab at all.

I like both names, but think Rose sounds better as a middle name...Elizabeth Rose is very nice....but if you insist on Rose as the first name how about something different for a middle name:
Rose Lyn
Rose Ana
Rose Twilight
Rose Taryn
Rose Mara

Rose Elizabeth is as nice as Elizabeth Rose.......the only additional comment is to think how either goes with the surname..oh.......and how the initials might read.

I think it sounds great, but if you're naming a newborn with that name, i suggest you to come up with something else. It sounds like 2 separate names put together. "rose" and "Elizabeth". But it's a beautiful name

Rose Elizabeth is beautiful. Make sure you pick a name you love! If you have any doubts consult the daddy. You may be surprised by his suggestions. Then again....lol :) jk
