I knew a girl called Cielo a couple of years ago and I was always jealous of her name. I think girl names that end with an O are gorgeous. We started pronouncing Cielo - See-ellow at first but she taught us how to pronounce it, which always left us with things to talk about. Go for it.

It is an interesting name but no one will pronounce it correctly. she will probably end up going by her middle name or a nick name. Like my friend whose name is spelled Sarah but pronoucned Sayrah. no one pronounces it sorrectly so she just goes by the average pronunciation. It will probably be a good idea to keep thinking or if you really like it use it as a middle name. Congrats.

It sounds pretty, but i had to say it a few times to get it. you might have a hard time with people pronouncing it correctly. maybe you could use it as a middle name so she doesnt always have to correct people.

I think it's a beautiful name, but I agree with Bugsey, if you have to tell people how to pronounce it, it's probably not a good idea.

It does kind of roll off the tongue, but it could prove hard to pronouce or spell by others. Thank you showing how to pronounce it.

It's a pretty name. But its very hard to pronounce. I think that people will always be saying it wrong and she'll always be correcting people and telling them how to spell it.

It is definately unique! :o)

I like it because I speak Spanish and know how to pronounce it. I think kids might call her cello though. But kids find a way to butcher any name. Overall, I like it.

I think that it is a cool concept but kids can be cruel growing up and that isn't exactly a common name so I would say bad.
