Does the father have to be there for me to give my baby her fathers last name. I want her to have her dads last name but Im not sure if he is going to be there when she comes. He is far away and I dont know if he would make it. But just to be on the safe side. I heard the father has to be there to sign something or something but is it true?

Hi all, we're expecting our second girl and want to name her Alice. However, we can't seem to find a middle name that we like.

Suggestions are welcome, though please no Alice Elizabeth's or Alice May's because they're getting old.

Our other daughter is named Freya Louise.

My Dad's name was Anthony but everyone called him Tony. I just found out that I am having a girl and I want to name her something that is after my Dad. I don't like Tonya or Antonia. I do like Antoinette but only as a middle name. I was thinking of something like Toni-Lynn. Any suggestions?

A girl in my class named her girl after a Greek goddess (of rainbow)named Iris; but l would name her after the Goo Goo Dolls song. (I'm not pregnant, nor will I be for a looong time)

There's a song by The Goo Goo Dolls called Iris, talking about how they love someone so much and that person looks like heaven
