Hi, I'm going to have a set of twins in a week or so. I've put together pairs of names I like, but I really cannot decide which one to pick. Which ones do you like?
Nicholas and Nicole (My personal favorite, but not my husbands)
Benjamin and Bailey
Spencer and Skylar
Tyler and Taylor (My husbands favorite)
Andrew and Andrea
Thanks so much for your help. : )

My wife and I adore it, we just want to see some other opinions. It's Maverick Hunter (1st & Middle). What do you think? Maverick is after my wife's mother's maiden name, and Hunter was my uncle's name (deceased as of 9-1-07, cancer. R.I.P.). We wanted to honour both these great people in some way, while sticking to our personal style (cowboy-ish, Western). So, what do you think? Thank you all :-)

I'm looking for a girl's name. I want it to be semi-unique but not "weird" for a white girl.
I like Annabelle, but some people say is sounds too old-fashioned. Others think it's too long of a name for a kid (to learn to write it, etc). And, I don't want people calling her Annie.
I also like Kyla, but others say it sounds like a ghetto name or is too "weird". I don't want anything too common like Kayla, Kaylie or Katelyn.

Any suggestions??

Initially posted in the wrong section ...

I went to school with a girl named Quanetta. When I was in elementary school there were twin girls named Georgetta and Rosetta. I know of someone with the name of Daquantay. I hate those names! Why do people do this to their children? I realize that it is their child but some of these names are ridiculous. People, stop combining your first name, your mom's middle name and your baby's daddy or husband's last name all together to come up with names like Treylishanique!

I am lebanese and my husband is english (very english). I would love my child to have a little bit of me as our surname is Jackson and I would love it to have an arabic/musilim name but my husband wants something typically English. I am not fond of Adam and he's not fond of Sami - any ideas? This is causing rows!
