I'm not too fond of either Jakobi or Jayden (Jakobi sounds wayy too made-up). Jacob is cute. If you are stuck with Jakobi and Jayden, consider switching to:
Ryan Jakobi
Ashley Jayden

I think that these two names roll off of the tounge better anyways.

Good luck and God bless

They're not my cup of tea.

Jakobi strikes me as an attempt to transform the classic Jacob into a girl's name. I think "Coby" has potential as a nickname, but I'd stick with Jacob or Jakob, or at least use a "y" ending rather than an "i." Girls often like having boyish names, but rare is the little guy who doesn't feel strange when mistaken for a she.

Jayden, on the other hand, seems like a boy's name. I think Aiden/Jaden/Brayden/Hayden must be among the most popular choices for boys these days. So not only is it insanely popular, it's insanely popular for boys. Still, that strikes me as less of a problem than the other way around.

Both very nice! But maybe spell it Jacoby? Or at least Jakoby? I don't like the "i" at the end.. Looks strange.. And try Jayden Ashleigh.. I like it spelled a little different than normal

I hate them both. Sorry. Jayden is a boys name. Jakobi, sounds like Jacoby & Meyers Law firm.

Why would you submit an important question like this to a faceless group of avatars on Yahoo? To demonstrate your lack of literacy, or to show people you've come up with a new way to Jacob? But since you've asked:

Unless Jakobi is a family name, it strikes me as very meaningless ... some cute attempt to appear ethnic with the white-bread name Ryan tacked on is rather tasteless.

Jayden is a melange of meaningless syllables ... but at least you spell Jayden like most of the Jaydens in our local grade school. Ashley is a nice surname, announcing your family's origins.

I think Jakobi is better as Jacoby if that's what you're really going for. Less confusion in pronunciation. It's a good name.

Jayden sounds like it's being horribly overused these days - at least people talk a lot about using it. I don't really care for it.

Unless you're actually of eastern European or Jewish descent, Jakobi is tacky. Go with Jacob.

Jayden is just a horrible name altogether, and it's a boys' name to boot. Completely awful.

For a boys name i think Ryan Jakobi sounds better. I love the girls name though.
