I have been scanning Baby Names for the last couple of days. And I've seen posters get nasty about the names and the spellings, like these people were naming them. They are asking for opinions, not a death sentence. And for those who think that names are all about ENGLISH spelling, not everybody on here is f/ the US. Think about that when judging other people's spellings and pronounciations!!! Then maybe get a life!!!!

Why do young, uneducated girls give their children "unique" names? I have a "unique" name myself and don't appreciate it at all. Weird names with weird spellings only hurt your children and it makes it difficult for them in life. When is the last time that you saw someone named Karianna LaQuinta working as a loan officer in a bank?

My husband mentione Horrace. What would be a nickname? The first thing that comes to my mind is Horse!

I like the name for my child as a tribute to my own mother, Aurielia, but people have told me that it's a hard name for kids to pronounce. I dunno, I really like it, and the nickname "Rorie." It's an uncommon name for black females, too. Any thoughts?

Below are some names that I've thought of already. What do you think ? I don't wanna chose a name that kids are gonna tease them bout, but also don't want a name w/ initials that spell something. The baby's name might be part of both of our last names. Ex is: Smith-Daniels or it may be only one of our last names. How did you decide whose name to take ?
(I don't know if we'll ever get married... Don't even know if I want to. I planned on breaking up w/ him but then I mentioned too soon that I might be prego & so the next day I went to get tested. Don't wanna be a single mom tho.)
