Personally, I don't like them, it seems like you are naming them a verb or something.

Lillian Virginia? Lillian is my g-ma's name and Virginia is my hubby's g-ma's name. It's for a girl, but that's probably obvious. We will call her Lily as Lillian sounds like an old lady, but we think Lily is just too cute. What do you think? Seriously♥

What do you think of the trend for "backwards" spelled names? Singer Sonny Sandoval of the rock group P.O.D named his daughter Nevaeh in 2000, and I have run into quite a few Nevaeh's myself. I personally think it is a little disturbing to name a child something (especially something like Heaven) spelled backwards.

Ok, we're not even pregnant yet, but my husband and I are already going over baby names. Let me know what you think. We have 2 girls names, and 2 boys names picked out.

Girls:

Ayla Rose (Rose is my sister and both Grandmothers middle names)

Keely Jean (my mother in law is Kelly Jean, so we thought it would be nice to kind of name the baby after her)

And then the boys:

Vander James (He wanted Alexander, but I think it's WAY too common...we found Vander in one of the novels my hubby was reading)

Talon Alexander (ok, I gave in on the Alexander, but only as a middle name. I like Talon, but I want it spelled Talen)

As you can see, we like slightly unusual names. I can't think of anything worse than being stuck in class with 2 other kids with your name. Let me know what you think, but PLEASE be nice. Well, at least don't be too harsh...lol
