Personally, I don't like them, it seems like you are naming them a verb or something.

They go along with names like Dallas and Ranger. I don't like them.

I think of them as the sort of thing people name their kids on the idea that those are "rich," "upper-class" names -- whereas they're anything but. The people they're trying to emulate have names like Richard and John.

It's not easy to picture "Prime Minister Cooper Jones" or "Prince Walker."

They sound awfully silly next to a last name used as a last name, too. They weren't so bad some years ago, but now -- over-used, and bad.

My nephews name is Cooper and I think it is cute and unique but I dont really like Parker or Walker, that is too much like Walker, Texas Ranger. Maybe I just like Cooper because I kinda have too.

LOL, naming them a verb, that was kind of funny. I like Parker, but I don't really like the other ones for first names. I think one of Lynette's kids on Desperate Housewives is named Parker. (?)

I wouldn't use a first name that sounds like a last name because I've seen my last name used as a first name and I don't care for it. However, I like the way the names Cooper and Tyler sound.

Love Walker and Cooper, they sound very strong and masculine, don't like Parker so much though.

Love them! My son is named Chase and if we have another boy I want to name him Parker but my husband isn't sure. He really likes Parker too but has another favorite as well!

Yea, verbs. But those ones in particular sound like yuppie baby names. You've gotta expect your baby to be a white-collar, snobby, white boy with those names.
