My mother has always said to try yelling it out your front door a few times. Iol. Seriously though its a good name. I like a name that can grow with a child. Jamison can be cute like for a little boy, but I can see it being sofisticated enough for him to be taken seriously as a man.

I like Jamison. I prefer the spelling Jameson or jamieson. Probably will be shortened to Jamie though.

Why do idiotic parents have to saddle poor unsuspecting children with ridiculous names. Jamison is fine as a surname. If his father's name is "James" you could possibly get away with it. If it isn't it is going to look odd going through life with a name saying you are James's son when your supposed father is called William. If it is William, why not Williamson?
