I love Kyler but my husband doesn't and it's like "Tyler" only it doesn't have the meaning of a tile worker lol...it actually means "archer" in Dutch (I'm 1/2 Dutch;). I love Tristan too (spelled any way)...like Wyatt, Owen, Justin and Riley. Kameron, I like it "Camryn" instead since "Cameron" or with the "eron" ending means "bent nose" and I think it sounds better without the "eron" ending....BUT.....honestly, this is YOUR special baby...he means so much more since you are all alone and care so much about his name, that says a lot. I agree with the person who said you should find a name that translates what your child means to you. In your case, "light of my life" or "reason for hope" might be some words that would describe what your son means to you...I feel for you and your situation. I pray that you will have the strength and endurance to get through this difficult time. Congratulations on your precious reason for joy!!!:)

Classy. Anyway, no don't give the child his last name because it'll complicate things later on. If you do get back together and get married THEN you can change the childs last name to his. BUT personally I cannot believe anyone would want this guy, much less have two adult women fighting over him and jealous of each other. I mean really, he's a felon, he's been jobless for 4 years and he obviously has no loyalty or respect for you or your unborn son. Its not about the other lady. If he wanted to be with you he would be with you. He's making up excuses. Yes, I'm sure she's tough to deal with but this is about you, your son and your sons dad, not her. I would just move on. Do the single mom thing, find him a new dad, adopt out. Regardless of what you choose anything is better than having the dead weight of this jerk around hanging around you. Besides, a father should be a role model, not a loser like this fool.

Personally, I love Trystan as a boys name but I have a tip for you. When your babies born, you will look at him and get a feel for what type of person he will be. You should choose a couple of names and then decide once he's born what to call him. When my little sister was born, my father had got down to 2 names, Tegan or Nissa. When she arrived, making a pile of racket, he looked at her and said Nissa is too soft. We'll name her Tegan and it fits her perfectly. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was tossing up between Anai and Yanira. Looked at her and she just became Anai. Point is that if you have a baby that makes a big noise when he enters the world, he might need a strong name like Wyatt or Owen. If he's quieter, more a thinker observing what's around him, you might want to go with Trystan or Riley. No matter what you decide, hope you have a healthy baby boy.

I personally love the name Keaton and think Wyatt is unique yet known, so I like that too. If you don't want people to being going "oh that's ugly!" or "oh that's weird!" I think that I would go for a more simple, traditional spelling if you don't pick one of the two names I liked. I've never saw Justin spelled like that. It makes me think 'that looks terrible' and the kid isn't even born yet (the same thing with Trystan). Riley is cute but be careful with that name because it's more often a girls name. Good luck with your baby and congratulations!

First off I want to tell you how brave you must be. I hope Life gets easy for you and you and your son have a wonderful life together. I love the name Keaton. I wouldnt name him anything to do with his father, I just wouldnt. If he wanted to run out then Id make sure his son's name didnt reflect his name at all. He is a coward and a loser and you son isnt. I like Owen also. I love Kyler too. You choose some great names. What about Kyler Owen.....
Thats really nice. Good luck and I wish you the best

To start off, I'm sorry to hear that the father of your baby left just like that. I know how it feels because my husband also left when my daughter is only 6 mos old. I'm going to be a bit biased but i firstly choose the name Riley because my 3yr old's name is Ryli! I also like the name, Owen because if I had a boy I would have chosen this too. Bottom line is, it's really up to you now. Just have a good look at your newborn baby and listen to your heart, you'll definitely feel what name would suit him. Good luck and all the best!

I like Keaton & Kyler...also the Y in Trystan and Ryley makes the make look like a girls name...just a thought.
Here some other ideas
Jaxon
Monroe
Beckett
Treston
Ryland or Rylan
Griffin
Rhys or Reiss ( pro. Reese)
ONE MORE THING: I really hope you give your son your last name, not the deadbeats....Your child will appreciate it, later on..

Must be tough.
I don't like owen or Wyatt or Justyn. Others are Ok. Riley's nice but very common.
My son's name is Declan, its Irish. Not to common but easy enough to spell or say. I was also going to call my other baby Malachi with Kai for short, but turned out itwas a girl!
Good luck its a hard decision!
