I think that is awesome. I love that there will be another little girl out there with the same name as my little girl. So many people gave me so much crap about it.
Why do people get mad when other people name their children the same name?

I'm glad you aren't mad at me. My parents are giving me crap about the name.........they say it is an african-american name (but they use the "n" word!) I don't know why so many people get mad like that. You can E-mail me if you want to, I think my communications are open!

Don't get me started on this topic!!! I just gave birth to my daughter when my mother in law tried to get me to change her name b/c it was too close to her other granddaughter who is disabled. It's not the same name!!! This went on for months and I was shunned by the "family". They call my daughter by her middle name, she's just turned 3 and doesn't even respond to it. I can't wait until she is old enough to tell them to call her by her first name.......But to answer your question, I don't know why people get so mad, it's a name that you have chosen to give your child out of love and if someone else close to you happens to want the same name, then so be it.

I dunno why people are so crazy about baby names. Its so silly because you go to a play group and everyone is named Olivia or Sophia...duh.

BTW, I LOVE your girls' names! They are so original, they'll love you for it later. :))

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and looking for an original girls name. Ergh. Its so hard! And I thought I was stuck on Roman but everyone seems to be naming their son Roman. So, I'm thinking of Gideon or Cyprus....

Got any suggestions??

I believe that a name is a name it does not matter who has it or who had it first.
