They tell me that the baby needs to sleep on his back becuase of SIDS. My baby hates sleeping on his back and can never get comfortable. I have been putting him on his stomic in bed with me so that we can both get some sleep. I was just wondering at what age can I stop worring about the chance of SIDS? Hes only 4 weeks right now! I dont want him sleeping in the same bed as me forever but I want him to get a good nights sleep.

I have been off b/c pill since Oct. 21, (end of pack) and have a normal period after like I usally do. But now it's been 33 days since the 1st day of my last period, and no signs of it coming. When will I start to Ovulate again, and get a REAL period. I am worried I will have trouble to get pg again. I never had a problem with my cycles 4.5 years ago, before I started the pill.
I worry about all these stories about women who wait for like 6 month and longer without a period, and wonder if this will happen to me. I hope not, cause I would really like to get PG.
Do you think I will get it back soon? I am really scared I won't be able to get PG.

with both of my daughters, i could only breasfeed for about a month and then i dried up. When my oldest daughter was born, we were living with someone else and had no room of our own and i felt very shy about breasfeeding in front of everybody...so i kinda stood in the corner or snuck off somewhere but i dried up within a month. with my second daughter, i had my own place and i still dried up within a month. is there something wrong with me? i can kind of understand why with my first daughter since she was the first and i was very uncomfortable but with my second i was very comfortable....did i do something wrong or is this something that just happens because i am very dissappointed with my body and myself now.

My fiance just found out she was pregnant, but she was supposed to be on the the pill. Its only about 4 weeks along. We are having some relationship problems also, and its really not a good time for a kid, im only 23, and she is 21, and we can barely afford ourselves, much less a kid. Im really scared an upset, she is really calm, I think she might have planned it. So, that freaks me out also and Im really thinking about leaving her. Do you think it is wrong for me to want her to have a medical miscarriage, or early abortion, where you only have to take a pill this early. Plaease tell me your thoughts.

I am now 9 days late for my period. My husband wore a condom with spermicidal lubricant on it both times we had sex this month (he works irregular hrs) I took 4 hpt's 1,3,5,and 7 days after my missed period. What are the chances that I am pregnant and not just late because of holliday stress/stress over a 9 day missed period?

i don't know if it just where i live, but every paper shop you goto there are a group of kids hanging around outside intimidating all the local people, it doesn't bother me because i am young myself but this is why i cannot understand it, it used to be called loitering and was not allowed,
there are even paper shops that have regualr security guards on the shop floor to stop these mischeve seekers which for a small paper shop must be quite expensive, bring back proper punishment for schools and smacking for parents i've been saying it since i was at school, i was smacked and it taught me right and wrong child abuse will always happen even with a ban on smacking so why ruin everyones chances of raising a decent child. your views pls

My daughter is going to be a first time mom. Her obgyn has told her to go out and buy an umbilical cord to insert into her uterus so that her baby will have something to feed off of. My daughter and I were going to go out this weekend and shop around for a fresh umbilical cord while the sales are going on. Does the race of the donor matter?? Will the race of the person who is selling the umbilical cord affect the race of my daughters baby?? Help please!!

I just received a callback from my gp's office and they told me that my pregnancy test (blood test) came out "borderline" and want me to retest again on Monday! Has this ever happend to anyone? My daughter seems to be lacking self confidence. We raise her in a positive environment and praise her for her actions all the time. I tell her everyday that she is beautiful. She doesn't think that she can do anything correctly. She calls herself stupid and dumb, and says that she hates herself! As a mom this breaks my heart. I was raised in a verbally abusive house, so I know what it's like to feel down on yourself, but I never wanted my kids to feel the this way! I still have issues with my confidence, but have never vocalized any of this to her. Do you think something like this is hereditary? I am looking for ideas and things that I can do to help her with this. I seem to be out of ideas. Please help!
