I have been off b/c pill since Oct. 21, (end of pack) and have a normal period after like I usally do. But now it's been 33 days since the 1st day of my last period, and no signs of it coming. When will I start to Ovulate again, and get a REAL period. I am worried I will have trouble to get pg again. I never had a problem with my cycles 4.5 years ago, before I started the pill.
I worry about all these stories about women who wait for like 6 month and longer without a period, and wonder if this will happen to me. I hope not, cause I would really like to get PG.
Do you think I will get it back soon? I am really scared I won't be able to get PG.

Thanks

I got off the pill in Feb after being on it for eight years. I always got a period since I have been off but my cycles are always between 28-35 days. I am still ttc but I will tell you one thing, I will never go on that pill again. I believe it truly screwed up my system. You will probably get one soon unless you are already pregnant. Good Luck to you.

You will be able to get pregnant. It takes patience! Sometimes it may take a few months for your cycles to get back to normal after you stop taking the pill, especially if you have been taking it for a long time.

It is perfectly normal for you to have a long cycle your first month off the pill and ya know what??? That first period will be a likely sign that you ovulated finally. Keep your spirits up and good luck!

you just have to be patient and wait for your body to get back to normal after stopping the pill and getting your hormone balances correct.

The more you thing about it and stress the less chance you have of ovulating. Just carry on with your life and be happy and eventually things will start to happen.

I know its easy for people to say that and trust me i know, i have been trying for a baby for 5 and a half years and still no luck as i have pcos so be patient you have only been off the pill a month.

could you be preg? Is it possible and I would go and get an app. with the doc to see what is wrong. Yes sometimes it will happen but it is not VERY usual!

Good Luck
