Pregnancy & Parenting - 24 July 2006

I am getting ready to get serious about potty training. She has gone both #1 & #2 a few times on the potty chair. I plan on going cold turkey on diapers and have her wear her big girl underwear. I'm not sure what to do at night time though. She always wakes up in the morning with a soaked diaper, even though we stop all fluids by 7pm the night before. If I put her in a pull up at night will that confuse her? Should we wake her up to go potty at night before her father and I go to bed? HELP!!!

She brought a boy home while I was at school and I walked in on him on top of her making out with her (thank god they had their clothes on still...)

ow do i make it clear she cant do this. she screamed at me and sed such nasty things and won t talk to me now 4 kicking him out....

I need help school is right around the corner exactly in 17 days. What to do, I can't learn in public schools and my mother act like she doesn't care. I been attending all the wrong schools for the past three yrs.I'm going to be a sophomore in high school.My mother says she don't have money to send me to a private school and i'm failing in almost every class.I really wanna be homeschooled but me mother could care less about my grades.

I have tried putting her to bed without milk and she just gets up and cries and screams. So I have to close the door and she just cries and bangs until I go in her room to calm her down and i try the same thing over and over and she does not give up but then I give up and she falls asleep fine with the milk. I need help quick!

I am a stay at home mom, I try to play with my son as much as possible during the day.The thing is around supper time when I'm trying to get supper cooked, dishes washed, and get bathes done, he fusses the whole time. I try to play with him some while I'm trying to get these things done, but, he still fusses and carries on and it is about to drive me crazy. He has two two hour naps a day and I try to get him in bed by 9:00. Please give me some advice here, am I not spending enough time with him? Also, what are some neat things to play with him, he is only 5 months old?

Bottom line, most of these questions are stupid. However, sometimes people need to talk because they are scared or don't feel that there is anyone else out there. Some want reasurrance, some want to know if others have had similar experiences. Not everybody on this forum is under the age of 18 either. Hello, I have an intelligent 2 year old and she's really sweet except occasionally she'll throw a fit then sometimes it turns into hysteria where she's screaming uncontrollably. These times I cannot get her settled down. She gets to the point where she is uncontrollable. I've tried putting her to bed when she does this, she won't talk to me and tell me if she hurts but she'll just be saying random things or something she really wants, like a wet wipe to wipe her hands. For example; and these happen both when she's tired and when she's not; tonight she is screaming and asking for a wetwipe. it's about an hour and a half past her bedtime. I put her to bed at her normal bedtime and I've been in there three times. Once to tell her it's time to sleep, once to wipe her off with a wet wipe like she asked. (we skipped the bath tonight, so she is sticky) and once more to tell her it was time for sleep. I told her I loved her and haven't been back since. She has screamed for up to two

back from camping this weekend and think she may be dehydrated. Is this something that can be treated at home or should we call the doctor? We have been checking her temperature often and giving her plenty of fluids.

I have friends who just had twin boys, both boys have bleeding on the brain, behind the eyes and fractures. The mother had been taking them to the doctor because they were having like mini seizures and all of the sudden CPS came and took all their children.

I have been around this couple forever, and they have never harmed any of their children. We have heard it could have resulted from the childbirth, but they are classifying it as shaken baby syndrome, in which I honestly, wholeheartidly believe they would not have done.

Need advice for them as they are very distraught over the whole ordeal and miss their children terribly.

When she was born she weighed 7 ibs. 2 oz.
Now she's 8 ibs. 10 oz. I've been feeding by bottle sometimes and sometimes the other way depending on if I'm home or not.
When I'm not my husband gives her a bottle.

She can say: uh-huh,uh-uh,
nana,papa,
ma,pa,
mommy,and daddy.

I do everything I'm supposed to. I just don't know why she's so thin! She looks like she weighs 6 pounds!
Her disablity called False Appearence Disoder aka F-A-D
was discover Jan.2006! It makes her look and feel just like a doll!
People even said to my face:"She's a fake!" She's not really a baby!" She sleeps w/ her eyes open too!
How can I help her get to an average weight?

1) Why do many Pro-Lifers say abortion is murder, but support it in the cases of rape and incest? Can murder ever be justified? Do two wrongs make a right?

2) Why do many Pro-Choicers say, "I know abortion is wrong, but I wouldn't impose my beliefs on others"? If you do not stand for, (or at least voice) what you believe what will you stand for?

3) If women should have the only say in the outcome of their bodies, why is suicide illegal? Why can't people do with their own bodies as they please?

4) If women shouldn't be forced to bear a child, should a man be forced to work for, (with his own body) and support a child?

5) Since religion cannot dictate government, then the spiritual, including souls, cannot be considered in topics as abortion. Therefore, after an unborn child has developed all vital organs, why would it not be considered a pre-addolecent child?
