When she was born she weighed 7 ibs. 2 oz.
Now she's 8 ibs. 10 oz. I've been feeding by bottle sometimes and sometimes the other way depending on if I'm home or not.
When I'm not my husband gives her a bottle.
She can say: uh-huh,uh-uh,
nana,papa,
ma,pa,
mommy,and daddy.
I do everything I'm supposed to. I just don't know why she's so thin! She looks like she weighs 6 pounds!
Her disablity called False Appearence Disoder aka F-A-D
was discover Jan.2006! It makes her look and feel just like a doll!
People even said to my face:"She's a fake!" She's not really a baby!" She sleeps w/ her eyes open too!
How can I help her get to an average weight?

Today she just turned 7 months old. So excuse the part that says she's 6 months old. For another thing, she's always slept w/ her eyes open even at 1 month old.
She grows hardly any. My guess is her disoder is the cause of it.
She's been on special liuid meds.
for help w/ the growth, and her weight.
She's also been very hyper! I started noticing that when she was 1 month old!
She may need one of the same meds.as me that staterra. Her disorder has tons in common w/ mine! In Jan.2006 while they were tryig to find out her disorder, they did tons of test on her. 99% of them matched my disorder. The one thing she doesn't have is seizures. That's good. I'm so thankful for that.

Your pediatrician needs to sit down with you for a lengthy evaluation of your daughter and consultation with you to discuss an appropriae feeding plan for your daughter and what is her personal growth timeline, and how this may be impacted by her disorder. Therefore, schedule a consult with her pediatrician asap.

I think you should be feeding her baby cereal by now....all my nieces and nephews were eating that stuff even before 6 months, you should feed her baby cereal etc. I have seen this before, when my niece was young I had a cousin the same age who was much thinner because they didnt feed him solid food just a bottle of formula or just breast milk, developmentally he was far behind my niece.
Iron-fortified infant cereal (pablum) is the first type of solid food that you should offer your baby. This type of cereal has the extra iron your baby needs to grow and develop properly.
Rice cereal is easy for your baby to digest and is not likely to cause an allergic reaction. Try rice cereal as the first solid food, then move to other single grain cereals such as barley and oat. Some types of pablum have formula added. Read the label carefully!
Check out this website about how to see if your baby is ready to eat solid foods and the kinds of foods to feed her etc.... http://www.healthunit.org/children/feeding/fyb_booklet/6months.htm

I've never heard of FAD but I was 3 pounds when I was born and I'm fine now. The best advise I can give you is to talk to a doctor or specialist in that field.

Is her doctor concerned? Have they mentioned a gastrostomy tube(feeding tube)? My daughter doesn't eat by mouth and has a g-tube. She weighed 2 lbs 10 oz at birth and now at eight months weighs 11lbs and 9 oz. It really helped her.

at eight months my daughters were almost totally off the bottle and eating regular food. Smashed up bananas, oatmeal, applesauce, anything really soft and easy to chew was great. Good luck

ok, i just looked up her "disorder" and it doesn't exsist. if this IS a real serious question, then she needs to go to the doctor and they will help you. it seems to me when she got her 4 month shots they would have told you why they think she is so skinny. but i think this is made up....
also i just looked at your questions and you've said your baby was 6 months old for 2 months now.....

What is your feeding schedule like? How often does she eat? How much? Breastmilk, formula? Solids?
Keep a journal of what she eats, how much and when and go talk to your doctor.
Her weight gain doesn't sound good at all.

give her the proper nutrition, go see your baby's doctor and ask for a chart only!!! Don't tell them why, because they will shoot you all sorts of lies!!! To spend that money, Just get a baby's nutritional chart!!
Matter of fact try this out for size
