I have friends who just had twin boys, both boys have bleeding on the brain, behind the eyes and fractures. The mother had been taking them to the doctor because they were having like mini seizures and all of the sudden CPS came and took all their children.

I have been around this couple forever, and they have never harmed any of their children. We have heard it could have resulted from the childbirth, but they are classifying it as shaken baby syndrome, in which I honestly, wholeheartidly believe they would not have done.

Need advice for them as they are very distraught over the whole ordeal and miss their children terribly.

They both have attorneys but it seems like they are sitting on their asses!

They argue, but have never heard or seen them hit any of their kids, nor ever seen bruises. The kids got to visit with them today and wanted to go home, it was very sad.

A friend of mine went through the exact same thing. Her second child had the same thing, and the dr stated it was possible shaken baby syndrome. They took her two children away, and did an investigation on both her and her husband. She had to jump through hoops, but she got her kids back about a month later.

The odd thing (to me) - she stated that she was upset, but she understood why. She said "what if we had been and the dr knew it and did nothing? If one of the kids died in our hands, and our dr was aware, people would be calling for his license. He was covering his butt."

Society has made it necessary for drs to do such things. It's hard to go through, but if your friends did nothing, then they have nothing to fear from an investigation. CPS will find that they are loving parents and return the children. But they need to check things out. It's hard, and unfortunate, but necessary.

My prayers to your friends. I hope this ordeal is over for them soon.

Are you around these people 24 hours a day ?
You never ,ever heard them raise their voices at each other or anyone ?
Seems funny BOTH boys have the condition !
You don`t really know what goes on behind closed doors.
I would let the doctors and law enforcement handle this one .
You would feel awful if you were wrong about these people and helped cover up their abuse.

Hello my boyfriend has been falsely accuse by my child of him chocking and smacking him. I know for certain that he has not done any. Child and youth services wont take my word. They interview my child alone and probably twisted his words. I know for sure that my child does not like my boyfriend and he wants to go and live with his dad. I know this cause it was his dad who called the child abuse hotline. What can I do to help my boyfriend when CPS are given this to the law enforcement to be investigated?

So, you think it just a coincidence that both of the boys are having this problem!?

It's a good thing that they took the children away! Most kids are put into a coma or even die before anyone figures out what happened. Obviously, you don't know your friends like you think you do. And most likely, it was one of them, not both of them.

That's horrible. I would expect nothing else from CPS. Like most government agencies, they live to create misery, because without it they would be out of a job.

The parents should file a report on their missing children, and they should sue CPS and the doctor. And if their current lawyers aren't doing anything, they need new ones.

Sorry to hear that has happened.

I hate to say it but it does sound like Shaken baby syndrome hon. Maybe the parents didn't do it maybe someone in the family did, or a friend(s).

sorry to hear that.Maybe one of the children shook the babies without the parents knowing.I have a friend who left her kids alone and her 2 yr old tried to feed her 3 mth old brother and he choked on his milk.but the boyfriend went to prison.the 2yr old said she feed baby and he turned blue.but my friend older son lied and said that the boyfriend did it.the law is all screwed up.maybe your friends can take a lie detecter test or find a good lawyer.good luck.

wow, that's horrible. If they really didn't do anything to them (intentionally), then they can only hope that the court system will see that and if they have nothing to hide, then they can volunteer for lie detector tests and such.
That really is a hard one. I couldnt' imagine going through that.
