Maybe I'm just not paying enough attention, but I don't understand why or how anyone could say that. I'm sure we could have prevented it, but that doesn't necessarily mean the government was behind it.

If the world just laughed at Chavez or Bin Laden everytime they spoke don't you think that they would have a hard time leading their people? I wouldn't want to follow a leader that everyone else believes is a joke.

I think instead of telling him to "shut up" everyone should have just laughed uncontrollably everytime he opened his mouth at the Ibero-American summit . That would have been cool!

supporting the theory because:

A) They are all socialists who are purposely lying in order to destroy capitalism.

or

B) They are all capitalists who are purposely lying in order to get global warming money.

Which tin foil hat conspiracy theory do you support cons?

People who have seen me post, have already seen me post a long list of scientific organizations complete with quotes directly from their official websites.

I'm talking about the American Chemical Society, the American Meteorological Society, the Geological Society of America, NASA GISS, the National Academy of Science, etc, etc.

government the power to engage in scientific research?

If you take the "strict constructionist" view of the constitution like these cons and liberterians do:

then NASA is unconstitutional.

What do you think?

I'm all for NASA and DARPA spending. Engineers got to eat too.

This would dramatically decrease crime. Do you agree that this would be ideal? The only people who disagree are those that have something to hide.

Do you believe that we need to do a better job of this and that we are too busy worrying about the short term of the here and now, and not enough about what the planet might be like in 50 or 100 years? By the way, which political party do you prefer...republican party or democrat?

If newspapers started printing phoney stories about kookey snipers taking pot-shots at people illegally crossing our southern border, do you think people might tend to think twice about jumping the border? NOTE: No illegal aliens would be harmed in this excercise. What could it hurt? God knows the MSM doesn't have any credibility at risk here.

Listen here, write what you think about Hillary and her beliefs. If you hate her, why? If you love her, why??? Personally I think she is a communist freak and I just can't understand why anyone would want some one so retarded to be president. So, if you disagree with me, let's here it. If you do agree with me defend your opinion, because I'm sure there are going to be a LOT of Hillary fans answering this question.

Musharaf defending his decision to impose martial law:
"The emergency reinforces the war on terror. So I really don't know how you see emergency as countering or negating the war on terror... So, therefore, all that I can say is I do understand that emergency has to be lifted but I cannot give a date for it. We are in a difficult situation and therefore I cannot give a date."

Also...
-- Elections will be held on January 9th, but refused to say when he will lift martial law.
-- Military courts can now try civilians on charges ranging from treason to inciting public unrest. (announced Sunday)
-- Several senior Taliban commanders, including Mullah Obaidullah Akhund, were released as part of a prisoner exchange one day after martial law was imposed. Akhund was a defense minister for the Taliban and one of the closest confidants to Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar.
