Gee, the moral authority of your religion just keeps piling up, doesn't it? Has it ever occurred to you to actually worship something good, kind and benevolent?

I come to this category occasionally and lately, there's been a lot of discussion about suspended accounts, cheating, etc.
Would someone please explain why so many are griping about these things? Do people with alot of points win things? What's the big deal? Since I don't come here often, I'm just getting bits and pieces.

Why or Why not?

I believe in freedom of speech. However, I find humor in the fact that protesters would try to block supplies RETURNING from Iraq in order to prevent the war.

Not to mention I get a warm fuzzy knowing they resisted arrest and got pepper sprayed in the face.

Cindy can't get Larry King to return her phone calls and she is now a "B player" trying to exploit her betrayal of her son's military service. Valerie Plame is now a multi-millionaire and the darling of the liberal media.

Does Cindy hate Valerie now that a new "schill" for socialism has emerged?

Valerie Plame just got a book deal for $2.5 milion, she & her husband has just signed an agreement to launch a Hollywood movie & she is now booking speaking engagements for huge fees. She's doing the talk and news show circuits, claiming she is a victim.

How can Plame, who was an admin CIA worker, boo-hoo and try to create sympathy as if she was injured? Heck, being "outed" was the very best thing that ever happened to her and her liberal activist husband.

Now Plame is the darling of liberal journalists and is set to be a muti-millionaire, in exchange for being used as schill for advancing socialism.

Is Valerie Plame an opportunist?

I'm genuinely curious here - what do you do differently or not if there is no global warming or if humans have no impact on it?

Please refrain from snarky "liberal" or "conservative" quips.

Refrain from pre-packaged opinions from any source - simply tell me about what YOU think - not what Rush or Greenpeace thinks.

Talk about yourself - not what evils "those other people" will do.

ATLANTA - An Atlanta megachurch took in $69 million in 2006, according to a financial statement the church's minister released in response to a Senate investigation into him and five other well-known televangelists.

The Rev. Creflo Dollar disclosed the World Changers Church International's financial information to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, but said the money he spends is his own.

Dollar said his income comes from personal investments, including businesses and real estate ventures. But the church gave him a Rolls Royce, which he mainly uses for special occasions, he said.

Some conservatives on this board keep suggesting that those who believe the scientific consensus behind anthropogenic global warming are all liberals. But all these Republicans have said it's real and it's dangerous.

So are all these people liberals?

Why do so many conservatives deny that the leaders of their own party agree with Al Gore and the scientists on this issue?

World Class climatoligist Richard Lindzen of MIT:

"His position with regard to the IPCC can be summed up with this quotation: "Picking holes in the IPCC is crucial. The notion that if you’re ignorant of something and somebody comes up with a wrong answer, and you have to accept that because you don’t have another wrong answer to offer is like faith healing, it’s like quackery in medicine – if somebody says you should take jelly beans for cancer and you say that’s stupid, and he says, well can you suggest something else and you say, no, does that mean you have to go with jelly beans?"[7]

Lindzen was one of several scientists who appeared in The Great Global Warming Swindle, a documentary that aired in the UK in March, 2007 on Channel Four. The film was critical of the IPCC and many scientific opinions on climate change.
