She was the lead speaker at a Democratic rally this past weekend. She spoke of having the next President on the stage and ending the Iraq War. Funny, she did not exactly agree wit the front runner/s on that one. Not "dialed in" as usual!

The rest of the pack howled and many felt Obama stole the show. Again, no one really listens to the Madamn Speaker anyway..

edit: I forgot, she sent everyone home for Veteran's Day holiday weekend and denied to send our brave troops funds to keep them safe. A true patriot.

Her promise was to get significant legislation passed in her first 100 days and set this nation on a new path.

So far all I can see is the minimum wage going up and Gonzales gone.

Other than that, I'm not feeling like I'm heading in a new direction.

She said, loud and clear in the lead up to 2006: 'We will end this war"

What war was she talking about?

If I were a Democrat right now, I would be very upset.
You can't do this and call Bush a liar at the same time.

She made use of Murtha's rant and hung on to his veteran credentials only to strip him of his committee chairmanship after she got the speaker's post.
She presides over the vote to re-fund the war and then brings out the cut and run white flag with withdrawl debates right after it.
What is wrong with this person?

She got her son a job working for the lobbyists and she tried to not give wage increases to her husbands investment (starkist tuna) employees , but wanted to raise the wages for his competitors so they could have a market advantage, aka tunagate, she put on a headress and talked to our enemies behind Bushs' back and against his wishes ...see, she has truly lived up to her reputation as a do nothing sleez.

Congress is able to stay alive even with a 10% approval rating. In another country there would be riots in the street.

Her job--she does it beautifully--is making sure those little hair's on President Bush's neck are standing up.
