Like the missing mom case in Ohio. Or most of the crime in any inner city in the country? Like it not, Blacks cause the most crime in this country, and it is backed up with FBI, Police, and Marshall statistics. Why do people have such a problem with the truth? Are you OK with this fact? Are you happy with it?

George Bush used the term “rape rooms” when describing the atrocities of the Saddam Hussein regime. But did you know that during the Abu Ghraib torture investigation, General Taguba of the US Armed Forces investigation comity discovered footage of female Iraqi detainees being sodomized by American military guards? We viewed the photos of the humiliation the male detainees suffered; they endured physiological abuse, sexual humiliation, forced stress positions, etc. But how many of us knew while that was going on, their wives, daughters, and sisters, were being raped?

It is one thing to do this to their men, but when their women and girls are gathered up and systematically raped, we become no better then the men we overthrew in the first place. Our president used the terminology of sexual abuse as a method to shock and manipulate the American people to believe our invasion of Iraq was justified; yet we enter the scene and become guilty of the same behavior the Iraqis perpetrated.

I am totally ashamed.

The term "plutocracy" is formally defined as government by the wealthy, and is also sometimes used to refer to a wealthy class that controls a government, often from behind the scenes. More generally, a plutocracy is any form of government in which the wealthy exercise the preponderance of political power, whether directly or indirectly.

With all our politicians selling out America in favor of big companies, and Bush wanting the Immigration Bill passed for cheap labor, and all the power the corporate lobbyists have, isn't a Plutocracy really what our government has turned into?

How many of us are grasping at straws? I know I am, and don't think that I'm alone. I've talked with Democrats on this forum who are practically praying for Gore to jump into the race. Many conservatives like myself, are looking for Thompson to jump in and work miracles. Others, many others, are looking and planning on voting for a third party candidate, and I'm guessing that the candidate of choice will be and is Ron Paul (no, he won't make it on the republican ticket). I'm not against a third party candidate at all, but feel that every time this happens, it ends up taking votes from one party and placing another party into office. Third party's need to get started on the grass roots level and not only during Presidential elections. IMHO.

Maybe it's just me, but I've convinced myself that with few exceptions, we'll end up voting for whoever we believe is the better of the evils. And then I ask myself, will it really make any difference, based on the leadership that we have in Congress. Those who are bought, paid for and will create quagmires every step of the way for the person who ultimately ends up getting elected.

Am I alone in this thinking?

When people talk about the United States being put together by religious people, they forget to mention that those religions were Unitarianism, Quakerism and Episcopalianism. If those were still the primary denominations of Christianity in America, it would be a thousand times better place to live. I challenge all of you to get educated about what Christianity meant in 1776.

Because I know that the word liberal does indeed have a bad connotation to it, while conservative has a good one in comparison. Just listen to Rush. He sounds disguisted every time he says it and that doesn't seem very fair.

Bobby Cutts is being charged with two counts of murder for the killings of Jessie Davis and her unborn child. Now, why is it murder when someone else kills a unborn baby, but not when the mother has an abortion? I believe both is murder.

all the countries that have long embraced women as political leaders-presidents, prime ministers, queens. Think of all the countries that care about their people and provide universal health care, while people here are dying needlessly. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that I would like to hear your comments about the humanity, or lack thereof, of this so-called nation. What has happened to this country? And do you think that in this election a woman will win? Is this nation ready to take it on? And if not, why not?

"Diversity" is a gay word that refers to anyone who is not a straight, white, christian, English speaker, primarily. But over all, "diversity" also means anything other than American. They want you to "celebrate diversity", meaning celebrate the deterrioraton of all the value that this country has always held, based upon our Christian beliefs. The word diversity really means gay, but they include all ethnic races to try and equallize homosexuallity with the fact that God created all men equally. So if you are a queer, you are just diverse, and not guilty of an abombination to God. Races of people are not diverse. We are all humans, and if we are all Americans, our skin type is irrellevant. But to gays who have an agenda, and hope they can dupe you into joining under a trick work like "diversity", you have to be a this American, a that American, and so on. Wouldn't it make more sense to unite around being American and speaking English than it would 2 try n unite around being bulkinized?

difference when listening to them on this current campaign trail. I know that legally Bill can't run again but it sure sounds like he is & whose to say if Hilary gets elected that he won't be running the show/Presidency behind the scenes, kind of like what Cheney does now.
