Disagree, it's based on lies; the CIA funds Al-Qeada; this is a war about money; lives are being lost for absolutely no reason whatsoever

Personaly I disagree with the war, but since it has happen, and became a reality, the most important thing now is that we have to think of ways how to win, this war must be won. Not because I am afraid of the terrorist will follow us here, this is not a valid idea.
This war is not pointless if it was properly managed. And to manage this war there are very important steps to be taken, first here at home, second with our foreign policy.
Here at home we have to admit that mistakes has happened, and we need each others help to correct them, we claimed that it is for the "Liberation of Iraq", and we should not turn into "Occupation of Iraq", not by us (US Troops) and certainly not by any others (Iran and the Islamists). By blaming each other who vote for and who vote against will not help anyone (the troops who are there, the people here, an the Iraqis who are under fire). The administration has to admit that there been mistakes in managing the war, the opponents have to help in finding ways chang the course to win this war.
and here are some Ideas:
1) Bring back the original Iraqi army, Police forces who been dismanteled at the begining of the, this was the first biggest mistake. Not all of those where Saddam loyalists.
2) Correct the mistakes we imposed upon the Iraqis with the so called "New Constitution", and stop punishing the sunni population, and give them some power back "the power that been given to the Kurds and the Shi'ite".
3) There is no democracy that comes from outside, each nation has its own virsion of democracy and culture to adapt, we must stop selling our way of democracy on the Iraqi people. Eventually they will find what is good for them as one nation, equal in rights.
4) We must stop dealing with the corrupt Iraqi officials, and start giving some power to people who know Iraq better, even if they say of act in a way that we do not like, I am sure there sre some Iraqis who will think of Iraq first and foremost.
5) We must and it is our obligation, to sole the Israeli Palestinian question and work hard enough towards establishing a long lasting just and fair peace, keeping the notion of "Israel has to deffend it self" is not working any more and will not work forever, otherwise we will find our selves sending american troops to the area every twenty and so years.
This I believe...
Thank you all

I hate war. It is a terrible and wasteful thing. But I understand that we must stand up for liberty. This war is the right thing to do. Pretty much everyone agreed that it was and their duly elected representatives are on record as voting for it.

The president warned us time and time again that it would be a long and difficult war. But was a necessary thing to do to stop the Islamic Terrorists. We all agreed.

Now some of us want to quit. Want to retreat in defeat. I hate defeat. Failure is intolerable. We must defeat this enemy once and for all regardless of the cost. If we loose, it will cost us far more.

I wonder what all those who want to bring the troops home without a victory think will happen if we do? Will the terrorists just leave us alone? Will they just become peaceful tolerant people?
In a pigs eye!
