Hamas being in control of Gaza is probably the worst thing that could have happened to Gazans bar none.
When you have a terrorist regime in charge, as you do with Hamas, suicide bombings and war tactics will increase against Israel, which means Israel has no choice but to protect itself.
Furthermore, many more young men and women will be "recruited" into becoming suicide bombers themselves as the money that should have gone into creating an infrastructure for the people of Gaza, creating jobs and a viable economy to ease the suffering of the people will be sifoned into the Hamas machine of building an arsenal, which will make it easier to recruit these poor people because A) death is better than extreme poverty, and B) at least their families will get paid for their deaths -- a very strong reason why Hamas keeps the people poor.
No, there is no chance for peace with Hamas in control.

No...but it was definitely a good time for Israel,US and EU to show exactly how hypocritically they all are...Unfortunately what Hamas did in Gaza only separated more the Palestinians...
And what Israel,US and Eu do right now is force the Palestinians to accept our choice...It didn't work in Iraq ,so I doubt it is going to work anywhere...We like to talk about democracy in the Middle East, but only as long as they accept what we want...

O definitely, forcibly radical governments that shoot people who oppose them create such wonderful peaceful societies.
That is the stupidest thing I've heard really, other than we should divide Iraq into Sunni and Shiite

soon the Un will allow them a plat form to spout their tales of hate and despair, depite killing and murdering its opponents, despite kidnappings, terrorist bombings on civillian buses, murdering soldiers pregnant women&children
who applauded the destruction of the twin towers, along side the westbank PLO supporters,as it allowed arafat to stand before the world armed and smile despite sanctioning the deaths of athletes at the olympic games of munich, when evil is given presidence, then evil will be accepted as a norm,as the world stood by in 39,as it stands by now in 2007 as iran aims for weapons of mass destruction,as sudan commits attoricys in Dafur as iraq gassed kurds in iraq, the world stood and did nothing,if leaders dont stand up to tyranny, then let mankind witness murder and mayhem,in the name of religion, the world has stageered from one tyranny to another
its time to end it once and for all!
