isn't reporting shutting out someone else's opinion? thereby obstructing one's ability to say what they want?

People want to preach that the media can say whatever they want, how come that same standard is not practiced here on Yahoo Answers?

Patriotism is like any other love, isn't it? Would you stop loving your child if he or she did something you didn't approve of?
