I feel more disappointed then sad.

The 'New Labour' Government' which was elected in 1997 offered so much hope for the future after the disastrous years with Conservative government.

Tony Blair is an intellectual human and that what makes his decision on Iraq even worse then George Bush who has the intelligence of a five year old.

Tony Blair has crippled support for Labour and has left a whole list of unfulfilled promises.

It really makes me laugh when I read here some of the stupid answers.
The reason that Tony Blair was the Government leader is simple.....to the intelligent people.

The Labour Party was voted into power by the people of the United Kingdom.

So, to all those people posting here saying HE and the Government are a waste of space.
This means that you are actually saying that possibly your family and friends are a waste of space.

People voted, it`s as simple as that.

That is why the Labour Government stayed in power.

Is that to hard for your simple minds to grasp.

Sad people, all jumping on the anti-Blair/labour band wagon.

Do you not see what the Labour Government has done for the OAP`s, NHS, Minimum wage, freeTV licence for the OAP`s etc, etc.

Things that the fecking Conservatives will abolish if they get into power.

People with short memories will follow like sheep and complain about anything just to join the sheep!

Baa, baa, baa, baa.

Not at all, in fact I would like to see him and George Bush prosecuted as War criminals.

He lied to us, he prosecuted an illegal war murdered innocent civilians and all our wishes.

He is responsible for the high terror alert that we are having to deal with right now and for the tension between Britain and the Muslim population.

No I will not miss him and if I had the opportunity to I would give him a ruddy good bottom thumping

I'm only sad because I didn't get to stick a fire cracker up his butt and send him on his way. Bloody war criminal. 10 years he had to get it right and look what he's leaving behind. Our government sucks, the lot of 'em. They're all too busy fighting to gain control of this country instead of coming together to sort out the problems that plaque this country.

Yes, in so much that he is not leaving office in the way that Saddam did, at the end of a rope.

Maybe he should ask us our thoughts on these things because most poeple I know don't want any of it. Has he heard of voting? I lost all hope of a decent politition a long time ago.

Sad? No. Ten years is a long time. It is kind of good that the US president has a two term limit.
