Sure seems like they do with all their "free speech" on the evils of democracy, oops, I mean liberals, they really need to have an enemy to blame, without, a whole lot of constructive reason behind it.

Yeah, they miss the rest of the cold war too. It may be why Bush has been egging Putin on with the missile defense shield in Poland. There's also a program on the Pentagon's drawing board which reprises Reagan's star wars. This may be a good sign with conservatives retreating again into the world of yesteryear instead of grasping the half baked, psedointellectual ideology of neoconservativism.

Well there's a sweeping generalization...and not even a good one.

While Conservatives exercise their right to criticize, you don't see them calling for restricting the rights of the opposite side to speak as well. Liberals, on the other hand, aren't satisfied with just criticizing, they seek ways to remove their opponents so they CAN'T speak. For instance, the attempts to modify the rules governing talk radio is a direct assault on their conservative opponents. If that isn't a page taken directly from the McCarthy era, I don't know what is.

It is far easier for liberals to bash conservatives about the war on Muslim terrorists than face the fact that Muslim terrorists are out to kill us.
