you will be able to move on, just rest easy knowing that the world will be a better place under a republican president than a democrat one.

Bush is so uniting that in the last election Republicans running for office hid behind trees rather than be seen with Bush and they still lost. Presidents are supposed to unite the whole country. I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Then you voted for an idiot who not only tore the republican party apart, he also tore the country apart. We now have no one trusting anyone or anything. We have racist problems that
seem to stem from 9/11 and all that. We also have unbelievable security at the airports where service is so slow and air traffic is so in disarray that people's schedules are disregarded. What is the solution you might ask. OK, one thing that everybody must see is the fact that our government is chasing the wrong people for home-grown terrorists. Who knows what is next!

To continue in the same direction as the current administration, I would suggest forming a militant branch of the party, dressing street force auxiliaries in brown shirts, and begin beating up anyone who opposes you. Make some simplistic promises about security, " enemies" and obedience. Have a few party rallies, you will be well on your way. Ein Reich, ein Fuhrer, Ein Amerika.

The only thing Bush has united is the people who do not approve of him. That is a majority as his approval rating is at 29%.
You need to worry that there will be a GOP left after Bush gets through decimating what conservatives stand for.

As a former Republican, I suggest the first move would be shoring up the foundation of the party: Fiscal soundness; accountability -- that is, fiscal conservatism. This "faith-based," "moral majority" crap has eroded the values of the Republican party.

Well, I'd say if you elect McCain you'd have another puppet president and the power behind Bush can keep pulling the strings. ;-)

George Bush is a good man. The Republican party is in disarray. There is no unity. I cannot imagine what you have been looking at.
The GOP needs a strong leader who sticks to conservative principals. With the President and Senators like Arlen Specter siding with Ted Kennedy on the non-amnesty immigration bill, the Republican base is infuriated with them.

I assume you do not read newspapers, magazines, or much on the current administration, one of the more unpopular administrations in recent memory.
