I tend to liken the surge to thinking that adding water to a grease spill will somehow cleanse the grease spill. All it does is create an even more muddled mess. The surge is further adding to an already messy situation. It isn’t providing more troops to achieve the desired objectives (whatever those are), it is merely providing insurgents with more target practice. No wonder Bush failed in business. Pouring more resources into a project never yields positive results, unless it is accompanied by a change in strategy. That goes for business, family life, and military campaigns. So much for Bush’s Ivy League education.

Get real, As of 6/21/07 we are only in the early stages of the surge, some units are just now arriving in Iraq. Quit listening to the liberal media and do some research for yourself.

You clearly are lacking some information on this subject.

The surge is going very badly. It will cost the Americans more lives and 'a terrible telling effect' on its economy. The earlier American leadership understands its folly in the surge and withdraw from Iraq the better for it and humanity at large.

Bush is gonna keep on sending soldiers 'til 1/3 of Iraq's population are US soldiers (killing and dying endlessly). This "mission" will never be "clear" enough to him until he has Iran and the Persian Gulf in his pocket$.

Is it an hypocrisy to vote to send armed forces into battle, and then, when things get tough, scream to bring them back?
