I will concede the Republican scandal regarding Foley was bad and will be worse if a cover-up actually occured. I say if because I believe in innocent until proved guilty and am willing to wait for the completion of the investigation before passing final judgement. However, liberals aren't and have tried to smear all Republicans with the same brush even though most Republicans have condemned Foley and will demand resignations of others if there was a cover-up.
Now we have a scandal involving ethics violations by Harry Reid and not a word from liberals. If is mentioned they ignore it and fallback on attacking Republicans for Foley and other scandals. The fact that this is a hypocrisy doesn't phase them a bit and this behavior is not new. Anytime a liberal is caught in something bad it is ignored by the left, passed off as minor and overblown, or labeled a Republican attack strategy. Am I wrong on this question? If so post a well thought out answer of why.

Do they think that the likes of Mark Foley and Tom DeLay are paragons of virtue? What about Jack Abramoff? Also, Newt Gingrich left his cancer-stricken wife for a woman he had been screwing for some time. (At least Bill is still with Hillary.)

Have Americans been tricked by Bush? Many Americans assume Bush is stupid, but is he secretly an evil genius? Or is he just a figurehead, and Dick Cheney is the smart one, and Dick tells Bush what to do and say? Or it the oil companies who tell Bush what to say? Dick Cheney and Bush both own stocks in oil companies. All of Bush's administration owns oil stocks.

North Korea HAS weapons of mass destruction. They admit to it. But North Korea doesn't have oil, so Bush is not interested in attacking North Korea. And North Korea isn't filled with Arabs either.

When this is accomplished and the people of Iraq are free and living in a Democracy. What would be the outcome of them Democratically electing an Anti-American government. If it is not to our liking and we get them out of power, then there really never was Democracy.

George Bush became president only through the disenfranchisement of black voters in Florida. At least 120,000 mostly black voters were deprived of their right to vote in a state that has a history of disenfranchising black voters. The indifference of the Republicans to this fact and their near-violent opposition to a fair revote, which, God knows, they would have lost, highlights their disregard of the rights of black and minority voters.
