I recently read this excerpt from Media Matters, a media watchdog Organization... I would like your feedback:
During the May 23 edition of Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor, Bill O'Reilly asserted that "[m]any Americans ages 18 to 24 have no idea what's going on," stating that they "get their news from [Comedy Central host] Jon Stewart and their point of view from bomb-throwing entertainers." In fact, studies have shown that viewers of Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart are consistently better informed about current events than consumers of other media, and Daily Show viewers are considerably better educated than viewers of The O'Reilly Factor. Further, consumers of Fox News in general have been found to be significantly more misinformed about current events than consumers of other mainstream media.
During the June 14 edition of his nationally syndicated radio show, Bill O'Reilly again baselessly attacked viewers of Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, calling them "dopey college kids" who must be "stoned" to watch the program. In fact, as Media Matters for America has previously noted, a study by the Annenberg Public Policy Center indicates that Daily Show viewers are consistently better informed about current events than consumers of other media, while Nielsen Media Research statistics demonstrate that Daily Show viewers are more educated and affluent than the viewers of Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor.

Responding to a segment on the June 13 broadcast of The Daily Show during which host Jon Stewart satirized O'Reilly's recent trip to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, O'Reilly suggested that Abu Bakar Bashir -- the extremist religious leader recently released from prison where he was serving time for his role in the 2002 Bali terrorist attacks -- could "bunk with" Stewart "when he comes to the USA." O'Reilly then characterized his own "program" as "serious" -- as opposed to Stewart's "comedy show" -- and asserted that while being "a smart guy," Stewart has taken to pandering to the "[d]opey college kids" who "are gonna watch him."

Would it matter if someone started going into the Iraqi mosques and started interrogating everyone? Would it matter if someone started killing off everyone who spoke like they wanted to destroy America? Would it matter if Iran invaded the US and made us convert to Islam? Would it matter if someone went against the rules and the buracacy to save people from their horrible deaths or even worse lives after the event? Don't you agree? I see a lot of girls on here bashing other girls, using such profanity like, sluts, ho, trash, uneducated lesbian, stupid slut. It's awful. As women we should unite, regardless our political views.

We already face a lot of oppression from men in this world; the least we can do is be FOR each other and not against.

don't follow this ethical example ?? Dems fight tooth and nail to stay in office no matter the evidence. Before you say "Bull...", look at William Jefferson, Dem, La. as a recent example. A decision by China to shift a major portion of its reserve to the euro or the yen or gold could trigger other central banks to follow suit. Nobody would want to be left behind holding a bagfull of dollars rapidly turning worthless. The herd psychology would be very difficult to control in this case because national economic survival would be at stake.

Democrat or Republican, Liberal or Conservative, why in the world would you support such a bill. If our gov't determines that a U.S citizen is an unlawful combatant then he/she can be arrested for any reason without a warrant thrown into a prison camp and not be allowed a trial. They do not even have to have any evidence of a crime. We need to stand up to this. This country is turning into a fascist prison state. Before you deny that this can happen read the Military Commisions Act. What else will we have to give up in the name of 9/11.

Our resolve to war or patiortism and the defence of our country has been weaken by liberals that think anything goes and what ever make's you feel good is the word of the day. What the minority want's is to control the majority! In the Vietnam war two Democrat Presidents got us into the war and it was a Republican President that got us out. It's a shame 80% of the punks complaining about the war are non-participants and are going to schools that have left-wing professors,yet most of our troops come home saying were doing alot of good in Iraq and the re-enlistment numbers are up! Muslim woman can take the veil off in front of children and other woman but not men. This is not to discriminate against men, but to guard their modesty and a sign of respect for oneself and for other's.

The veil is not forced upon Muslims woman, and is worn of personal religous choice.

If a Muslim woman believes she should guard her modesty and not reveil her features in public by wearing the veil, shouldn't that be that person's choice? as long as that person is not hurting anybody or her veil is not getting in the way of her job or duties, then i see no reason why she shouldn't be allowed or be discouraged to wear the veil.

None of my female family members wear the veil or the scarf and they are all believers and practising Muslims.

This is just another stab at Islam, by picking on something insignifcant to keep Islam in the limelight and under public notice and scrutiny.

Bullies.

I currently own stock in a company that is doing business in Iraq. Since, the war started, my stock has shot through the roof and I am making a small fortune. I want the fighting to continue in Iraq, as my stock will continue to rise and rise. I was brough up to believe in the "American Way", does this make me a bad person?
