Hillary will do whatever it takes to get supporters. I don't know how everyone feels about that. It seems that half the country is fine with someone who changes as the wind blows, but the other half finds her hypocrisy distasteful.

She said she was a Yankees fan when she's supported the Cubs her whole life.

She said she was Jewish, Hispanic and Catholic, yet she goes to Christian churches when the cameras are shooting.

She said she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary when she was born well before he was known.

I see more hypocrisy in her extremely strong belief in Marxism and socialism, yet she denies it when asked. Is she afraid to show her true colors?

I guess we're just used to it, so it doesn't bother anyone anymore. Let her wear whatever she wants. There will always be those who love her no matter what she does.

According to conservatives of course.
Isn't thinking of others and making personal concessions a Christian POV?

It seems to me that the idea of a Conservative Christians is more hypocritical.
Unless you're admitting that the true nature of religion is a form of social control and enforced moral uniformity.
Is that what you're saying?

I believe we are seeing another blatant attempt at triangulation. It is as cynical and planned as was Billy boy leaving church with his crisp, unopened Bible every Sunday to hurry back to the White House for "Monica time". As 2008 grows closer, you will see and hear Hillary sound more and more like a centrist or mild conservative when on camera. She knows full well that the leftwing message doesn't resonate with the American public.

On a side note, I think the Clintonistas are hoping the Democrats fail to gain the House or Senate in 2006 so they can get rid of Howard Dean and replace him with their own agents for the run up to 2008.

I continually turn to Gods word and notice what He has to declare pal:-) and that i'm hoping it somewhat is effectual for you:-) The bronze serpent Moses had sturdy and greater on the stick by some ability controlled to stay to tell the story each and all of the wanderings and battles of the Israelites for extra beneficial than seven-hundred years. many of the encircling pagan Canaanite countries worshiped serpents as gods of fertility and mystical power. And over the years, the Israelites began to mimic their pals and to handle this bronze relic of God's forgiveness as a deity in and of itself (2 Kings 18:3-4). like the classic Israelites, thousands and thousands international right this moment are inadvertently worshiping the serpent on a similar time as thinking they're worshiping the Lord. they have slowly, unwittingly been sucked into base idolatry. regrettably, many Christians have accomplished the comparable element with the emblem of the go as a results of fact the classic Israelites did with the bronze serpent. in the comparable way the Israelites have been to no longer worship the serpent on the pole, we are to no longer bow down or to desire formerly a go. Neither are we commanded to make the sign of the go on our persons. there is not any mystical power or distinctive function in this photograph of an historic torture enforce! while Jesus pronounced to His disciples, "If any guy will come after me, enable him deny himself, and soak up his go, and stick to me" (Matthew sixteen:24), He develop into commanding His followers to undergo the go, to no longer positioned on the go.

Where the hell have you been? There are plenty of liberals who believe in God! Since when do conservative Republicans have a monopoly on Christianity? The last time I heard, God was neither a Republican nor a Democrat.

Now, now. Faith is a perfectly acceptable political prop for politicians, and has been used on both sides of the aisle.

It is only the right-wingers who understand that faith and action cannot be separated, and that proclaiming personal faith while voting contrary to that faith is blatant hypocrisy.

Who says only Conservatives can believe in God? That's utterly absurd. I believe it is impossible to be a conservative and a Christian at the same time. As far as I ever learned, according to Christianity, the purpose of life is to help those who are down, those who need a lift, to be generous with your care, attention, resources. Conservatives seem to say it is up to each man to fend for himself, absent the protections of the government. Furthermore, most conservatives seem to be very hot on protecting the wealthy, while shunning the needs of the poor--not very Christian, in my estimation.

As fro the person who commented that she moved to NY to run for office as if that's an odd thing, there were 2 brothers who were both Governors--named Bush. They weren't from Florida AND Texas. That is very common, you poor deluded soul.
