They think they're being smart and original, when really they're demeaning themselves by showing their LACK of intelligence and LACK of originality.

It isn't smart, funny or effective. These are usually people that do not put a lot of deep thought into what is happening to this country or what this country needs. They echo the rhetoric they hear from politicians and think they are aware. I really believe the core group of citizens around this nation realize that we have to listen to all ideas and work together. If not we will continue to falter, and bad things will continue to occur.
If anything doubts these dire predictions just look at the Military Commissions Act signed this week. Yes it gives the government the right to deal toughly with terrorists, no doubt about that. People seem to have missed the part that gives the government the ability to remove the writ of habeus corpus protection for US citizens though. They are too busy calling each other silly names and parrot- ting party lines.

Democrat, Republican... Who cares, the common people always get the shaft, and only time we get thought of is when they look for election votes... after which time, they forget about us anyway. I mean seriously, who in this country could possibly make a living off of minimum wage?...
Politicians all need to take thier heads out of their @ss and get real. They both Suck!!
But Clinton was cool, wish he could run again (I know yall hick @ss Republicans hate to hear that) but at least he was a real person. Unlike the phonies in office now!

I don't know. I think they think they are being "cute" or "funny". It's immature and they should grow up. I don't know how mature my name makes me look though. I'm a 26 year old woman with a screen name of cutie pie. Okay?

I think the idea is that they'll actually hurt someone with name calling. Personally, I could care less.
