There are two kinds of justice. One is for the big boys, and Foley works for them and stepped down when he got the nod. The other justice is for the little people, and in that you can hang for stealing a loaf of bread to eat, while if they steal the whole state, they are declared statesmen of the year.

Define special treatment. Did Tedd Kennedy get special treatment when he killed that girl, Mary Jo Kapecnick, when he ran off the bridge??

What about Bill?? didn't he get off the hook with his escapade with Monica???

So, what is the difference??? If it is fair for one, its fair for the other. Need to have the same rules for everyone. Kennedy is still if office and Bill, is making a killing off books and appearances. Hillary couldn't remember anything about the Rose Law Firm, until she got out of office, then she wrote a book with all those facts. Imagine that, lying under oath. What else did they lie about??

He is in disgrace. He is being publicly humiliated. He is being shunned by liberals and conservatives alike. He is being investigated for both legal and ethical violations. He has resigned and gone home in disgrace. He has lost all respect from those he represented and worked with for years. He is a sad and broken individual.
I wouldn't call that special treatment. It seems rather tortuous for a man that made a fool of himself, yet broke no laws.

Special treatment? Give me a break! If he was a liberal, he would be painted as a victim and supported by the ACLU!

Not any more than Studds or Reynolds, hell Studds was re-elected. Foley broke no law, the only thing he is guilty of is being gay.
