I think it's absurd, these teenagers may be a little sad or upset or rowdy so they are put on huge doses of medications. Plus the psycholgists as they are called are just money grabbing assholes who only care about getting paid. How this country maintains it's status with the strange methods it has for hwlping the public is beyond me.

Just on yahoo TODAY... OSLO (Reuters) - Scientists said on Monday that they had found the first direct evidence linking the collapse of an ice shelf in Antarctica to global warming widely blamed on human activities.

Shifts in winds whipping around the southern Ocean, tied to human emissions of greenhouse gases, had warmed the Antarctic peninsula jutting up toward South America and contributed to the break-up of the Larsen B ice shelf in 2002, they said.

"This is the first time that anyone has been able to demonstrate a physical process directly linking the break-up of the Larsen Ice Shelf to human activity," said Gareth Marshall, lead author of the study at the British Antarctic Survey.

The chunk that collapsed into the Weddell Sea in 2002 was 3,250 sq kms (1,255 sq miles), bigger than Luxembourg or the U.S. state of Rhode Island. (it continues)

they say they stand for equal rights, tolerance, and morality, yet.............

they feel that a woman cant choose what to do with her body when pregnant, they appose gay marriage and will go to hell, they invaded a country that had absolutely nothing to do with the terrorist attacks, they say that their against marijuana laws even though they turn around and sell highly addictive life destroying drugs in the pharmacies. they would rather spend the money on them selves instead of paying taxes to the people who realy need it. religeously driven which once again has flaws in the morality and tolerance department.

NOW TELL ME THEY ARE MORAL GOOD PEOPLE. WHEN THEY ARE THE BIGGEST HYPOCRITES OF ALL TIME.

I live in a State in which every river, creek and lake is contaminated. I wouldn't think that the environment would be a democrat/republican issue because it effects us all! Our health and well being has alot to do with the environment in which we live. And I'm 100% sure there are other states with the same problem. So, are these people blind? I mean do they think that toxic gases and chemicals only have an effect on animals? Look at how high of a percentage cancer has jumped sense the invention of the atomic bomb and the microwave oven! Certain types of radiation are known to cause cancer for sure. As well as chemicals such as PCBs. I cannot help but wonder if those above ground nuclear tests we did back in the 50's (or whenever it was) has something to do with our health today. It takes a very long time for radiation to decay!

no bid contracts, illegal domestic surveillance, racial profiling...are these things acceptable during time of war? If so, does this send the message that democracy and american values don't work in the face of conflict? Aren't times of war EXACTLY when we should be living up to our ideals? What's to stop a president from declaring war, for the sake of removing restrictions placed on him/hers by the constitution?

29 Republican congressmen went to Condeleeza Rice and demanded that Dog, Leland and Tim not be extradited to Mexico. Why were no Democrats involved. You can give sacastic answers if you like, that is fun. But I truly want to know why they are not on board to right this injustice. He is a perfect example of a man who has turned his life around.

Dog, Leland and Tim where all arrested by the US Marshalls. Their crime was arresting Max Factor heir Andrew Luster. Luster had been convicted on multiple rape charges but skipped bail and went to Mexico. Dog arrested him them and was himself arrested, bouty hunting is illegal in Mexico.

The US government has now agreed to extradite Dog and his coworkers. The Secretary of State must approve any extradition.
