These two men have done more to shape the Republican Party as it exists now than anyone else living. What does it say about the party that two druggies and winos is the best they could do?

Serious answers from Liberals only, please. We are after thoughtful responses, no trolling or joke answers.

This does not mean that I like Bush or don't, I'm just asking a question, so please don't assume that I do or don't! I'm just asking WHY you like him, or you think he is a good president. I really really don't want this to get heated so please do not answer and try and say Bush is a bad president, I asked another question called, "People who DON'T like Bush: Why?" So instead of posting here click on my Q&A and find that question, I will post the URL in a couple of minutes. I'm just asking people who do like President Bush why they think he is a good president. That's it. So please don't start a debate or answer with anything else. Remember, go to my other question if you DON'T like him! Again, don't assume anything about me by this question, I'm just asking a question! Thank you so much! Serious answers only please =)

I ask this question only because it seems to me that if someone is as wrong about other things as they are about political matters (which one would more or less expect to be the case) their answers to any sort of question can have absolutely no objective value, other than as inadvertent humor.

Liberals only answer this, please, because I want some really thoughtful, insightful, hip and aware responses. Thanks, in advance.

keeping a open mind, does seem he alone knew how to keep 3 diffrent tribes as one,he didnt do things the way americans see as humane, but we shouldnt judge by american perception, 3 world countrys are diffrently tough, you could kiss your dong goodbye for rapeing a mideast women around there, doesntt fear, keep people in line, then it border line of punishing people who break the law ,so it not done again, not saying it right, all killing is wrong, but punishment, sometime is necessary, even here or people will repeatly break the law .must be someway we could use him,as what he does best, is keep the country together, looking at what else might happen there,we could see that he have no military etc ,treat people fairly ,somewhere along that line, what you think? keep a open mind.

O'Reilly isn't alone in his desire to see people who question 9/11 targeted as supporters of terrorists. The White House's own strategy document for "winning the war on terror," cited by Bush in a recent speech, identifies conspiracy theorists as terrorist recruiters .

OnThe O'Reilly Factor Thursday night, O'Reilly equated the 9/11 truth movement with terrorism and threw his weight behind a move to have them investigated by the FBI.

According to a new New York Times/CBS News poll, only 16% of Americans think the government is telling the truth about 9/11.

Bush has said that he wants democracy in the Mideast, but the vast majority of the people in Turkey, the region, and indeed the world are opposed to his policies. Isn't there a contradiction between saying you're for democracy and advancing policies that relatively few people seem to want?

If you started dating someone and later when politics comes up that they're a staunchly proud liberal but you're a 100% conservative (and vice-versa) would you end the relationship even though everything else between you is great?

some months back did Pres. Bush say that he believed that there was about 100,000 dead Iraqis? I'm not claiming he did...I am looking for a source...but if he did and now is saying 30,000, I would have to say he would be telling a bald faced lie, with full intent. If there is no quote, Bush supporters have my apology.

You got rid of Saddam, yay. Now a once-stable country is a wasteland with no public services, streets filled with garbage and sewage, terrorist camps springing up like weeds and civil war among the sunnis and shiites filling the morgues and graveyards. Are you happy now?

This is a serious question because if Bush and Blair are such devout, pious creatures, how can they sleep and exist knowing that their actions have laid waste to 650,000 human lives. Religions excepted.

I always hear from people (the white libs of course) that calling a person with African roots black is rude and wrong.

Would you be offended if people called you black or do you want to be called African-American or what?
