Why does his approval rating go down and up so rapidly? Can people not figure out if they like him or not? I really don't see him doing anything differant than what he always has so why would they change their mind? Are any of you that way? If so why?
Make up yer damn mind!! Geesh!!

Would you liberals be upset at her for cutting the funding to all those social programs, like Bill did?

You know, the ones that Bush gave funding back to.

I thought you democrats were into social programs?

"Bush is the most popular president EVER, he's a uniter, BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Now that he's sitting at around a %32, all you hear out of 'em is "Those polls are corrupt, they don't mean anything"

Really??? what a difference 5 years make. Just admit your boy blew all that goodwill he had built up to further a personal agenda.

I'm watching Bush talk about global warming on the tube, and I actually agree with him. He's saying what a threat it is, and how we have to do everything we can.........

WHAT?????

He just said that the jury is still out on whether global warming is natural or man made. Dammit!! I guess this is the same "jury" who decided the evolution issue.

Oh, well. See, conservatives, I tried. he's just too stupid and corrupt.

I keep hearing the name "Jeb Bush" being tossed around as a presidential candidate. ARE YOU NUTS????!!!

Don't you wanna win? No one with the surname "Bush" is gonna run this place again. Your boy Dubya has seen to that. 34% approval rating.....down 2 pts from last week, which was this years high of 36%. yeah...this YEAR's high of 36%.

I understand that liberal and conservative are just labels that may not even be meaningful anymore, but I decided to use them because those labels keep gettling flung around on this site.

America has had Bush in the White House for six years, an administration full of Republican party hacks that go back as far as the Nixon days. A Fox commentator is the press secretary, Karl Rove is off scot-free, Rush is still on the air, and Ann Coulter's book is #1 on the NYT bestseller list.

That said, how exactly are liberals keeping any part of this huge steamroller of a machine from going wherever it wants? I'm interested in hearing exactly how libearls are supposedly impeding anything whatsoever.

It seems you ignorant liberals don't have anything to say, except 'bush is bad'.

If you have something you want to accuse him of, do it, and BACK IT UP!

Don't forget:

Your b.s. claims that he lied about wmd have been disproven, and contracict each other.

Your b.s. claims about him and the hurricane have been disproven, and contradict each other.

Your b.s. claims about the war for oil don't hold water. Your accusations contradict each other, not to mention no evidence of it, other than “your feelings”.

Now if you have something to say, say it, AND BACK IT UP! But when you keep posting those stupid "questions", you are just enforcing the idea that liberals are morons.

If you want to be taken seriously, you need to be able to back up what you say. And citing a michael moore movie is not backing anything up, since he has been proven to manipulate clips and outright lie in order to get his point across.

YOU ARE THE ONES MAKING THE ACCUSATIONS, YOU ARE THE ONES WHO MUST PROVE IT

We all have our pet peeves about our beloved U.S. of A. But come on now, let's get a little introspective. Is there anything that you think other countries do much better where we completely suck? Is there anything totally annoying about the US, esp. compared to another country?

I'm not a flag burner, but come on, it's the 4th of July. Let's grill some sacred cow burgers!

Do you think this explains his policies? What about similarities behind him and Rush Limbaugh's addiction? Was the decision to go to Iraq at all influenced by an "eightball"?

I've always dug this tune, and I can't WAIT to be able to say the words "President Clinton" again.

This Will Be Our Year
(The Zombies)

The warmth of your love's like the warmth from the sun
And this will be our year, took a long time to come
Don't let go of my hand now the darkness is gone
And this will be our year, took a long time to come

And I won't forget the way you held me up when I was down
And I won't forget the way you said "darling I love you," you gave me faith to go on

Now we're there, only just begun
And this will be our year, took a long time to come

Alright

The warmth of your smile, smile for me little one
And this will be our year, took a long time to come
You don't have to worry, all your worry days are gone
And this will be our year, took a long time to come

And I won't forget the way you held me up when I was down
And I won't forget the way you said "darling I love you," you gave me faith to go on

Now we're there, only just begun

The Supreme Court's landmark decision repudiating President Bush's plans for Guantanamo prisoners exemplifies effective checks and balances. However, to prevent future erroneous interpretations of the law, and erroneous executive orders SOONER, checking and balancing the president's actions needs to be conducted immediately after the president declares that knowledge by the Supreme Court and Congress of a particular negotiation's details will not hinder it. Perhaps, Congress could also elect three additional Supreme Court justices exclusively to oversee the president.
And when everything the president says officially is also audiorecorded by three separate machines to prevent tampering, the Supreme Court's twelve justices and the 535 members of Congress will be able to access to the scientific, word-for-word truth concerning any of the president's actions.
