I also notice the meaning of "The Dream Act" is really a nightmare for Americans ; the "Fairness Doctrine" is anything BUT fair ; "Political Correctness" is usually not so correct..and "free healthcare" for everybody, isn't free ; on & on & on . What is the similarity in much of this ? Could it be..brainwashing of sorts..or what ?

they changed it into the violation "appeals" boards, but it has no controls over language (just like the old boards) and you can follow a topic thread just like the old boards. Fun!

Do you believe that laws and penal codes should be federally regulated (all states do the same thing) or should each state have it's own laws and penal codes for crimes?

How about "social issues" (Gay marriage, gun laws, etc)

Even with all the talking heads of both sides trying to grandstand as usual the PEOPLE are dealing with the situation in a calm and orderly fashion.

When ill informed people shout that they should have the entire California national gaurd out fighting the fires the ones running the effort know thats not the way. You need to keep a lot of men in reserve so when the ones on line wear out and in that heat it wont take long, then you have several thousand fresh new men to go on line.

Even the State legislature has come together in true bi partisan ship to do the job.

True Americans at work.

Although it's the worst disaster ever in Southern California, and many homes & mansions have burnt to the ground, everything seems to be going smoothly as far as the evacuations, water, shelter, food supply, etc. Our leader has already proclaimed it a huge disaster area & funds are being allocated for the victims. He's also on his way there. Wow, & they say govenmet is inefficient!

Perpetual war, with no money to fund it and previous debts looming like an albatross on the prow of the boat. A life with no taxes, yet expecting roads to be built, governments to function, the mail to be delivered, the military to protect them. A world free of sex, except in the sanctuary of marriage, yet Single Mom families are more prevalent in Red States than in the "Liberal" States. The Poor dependent upon charitable help, with charities begging for money and going broke. Health care available for the prosperous, with poorer people going without medical care. Huge fines for cursing or sexual escapades on national television, but no accountability for their Congressional leaders who have proven to be corrupt, with indictments flying like flocks of sparrows in the fall.

Are Republicans living in a Dream World, with common sense taking a back seat to personal greed? Do they want a country where the Poor are dying on streetcorners, while the Wealthy thrive?
