It might have been Conservatives that were feeding them that kind of BS. It isn't the liberals cause I am one and I was just about to answer someones post saying that illegals might have something involved with it, but I have more dignity and respect than that.

No way would Al Quaeda start those fires. After all some of their biggest supporters from Hollywood live there like Sean Penn.

You know what...that is not unbelieveable. We have open borders in a time of war. According to the Constitution we should have Secured Borders. But we don't. Then there is the Patriot Act(isnt that for monitoring Terrorist or something?) that seems to have directed our attention elsewhere as who knows who scampers into America .... unnoticed, undetected, unaccounted for, and right back out the same way. I wonder why there aren't Troops and National Guard around our borders...but I guess it doesn't matter who comes and goes in the night...

Edit: Of course, that moron is still looking for justification of the illegal war. The fact that the rumour was hammered into brains backfires ... it's a desperate attempt to make us believe the war... How can they insult us so...???

Harry Reid says Global Warming, cops killed one suspected of setting a fire? Fox news, no surprises. Fires= Southern California. It's a given. But arsonists, they create terror yet not likely from al quaeda. More spin.

I'm surprised it wasn't 'liberals'. The GOP has a room full of guys whose only job is, when something bad happens, to come up with a way to blame it on 'liberals'. Or President Clinton.

They really bank on the ignorance of their audience! P.T. Barnum was right--nobody ever went bankrupt banking on the stupidity of the American people (some of 'em anyway).

The people who started were caught- one killed. I didnt see anything saying terrorists started it. I bet that some pundit probably said it was the type of thing that they could do but not that they did it.

This kind of thing is why Fox News has no credibility. There's been absolutely no indication al-Qaida started any fires.

The "reprts" were prue propaganda--nothing but the right wing's latest attempt at frightening people to try to shore up the collapse of Bush's regime and their discredited ideology of hate and violence.

Sorry, but this is not true. They only discussed a hypothetical situation very briefly. Good try, Sparky.

Har. Yes, I can totally believe that such drivel came from Faux News.
If Bush is constipated, they'll blame that on AlQaeda too...
