This question was sarcasm. I listed "high expectations" that I though any reasonable person would consider reasonable expectations. But war supporters agreed with my sarcasm that they were too high of expectations. Do war supporters really think that these are high expectations for Iraq? And is it sad that the anti-war crowd has come to expect pro-war people to not have reasonable expectations?

The problem is, the liberals have too high of expectations for the Iraq War. Rather then expecting a war to last under 4 years, be paid for by something other then credit on American taxes, and have a decrease in violence and terrorism, their expectations should be simply: It's slightly better then it was with Saddam.

He has right for privacy. And if he want to fish without t-shirt it is understandable. It is easy to make fun, but there is nothing funny. Have u heard about paparazzi? So, Putin was not in Moscow that day, he was fishing very far from there, in Sibiria.
Anyway, we are all proud that our president always stays in shape, he cares about his body. What you cant say about... u know who. :)

A 2/3s majority is needed in both the House and the Senate. The low approval ratings of both the House and the Senate are the direct result of the Republicans putting partisan politics before the needs of the American people. WIth only a slim majority in both the House and the Senate, the legislation the Democrats put forth is NOT Bush Veto-Proof. If you're unhappy with how the Senate and House are conducting business, please write your Congressman (http://www.house.gov/writerep/) or your Senator (http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm) and tell them to put aside the partisan politics and to get back to working for the AMERICAN PEOPLE!!

what does it mean to be a conservative is it a refuge for people that wish the social order of our country was as it was in the 1950's ? Or is this a huge misrepresentation of conservatives ?

And how do the libs who brand conservatives as racist for criticizing Obama reconcile the fact that Justice Thomas was slandered, libeled and pilloried by the mobocracy of the Left?

Is that a 'real' black person cannot possibly be a conservative?

When will Republicans wake up and put aside their partisan politics and see the TRUTH?!!? Bush and Cheney are LIARS!

President Bush and Vice President Cheney have told audiences that Social Security faces an $11 trillion shortfall if nothing is done to fix the current system. But they fail to mention that this is over the course of the “infinite future." Over the next 75 years -- still practically a lifetime -- the shortfall is projected to be $3.7 trillion.
The "infinite" projection is one that the American Academy of Actuaries says is likely to mislead the public into thinking the system "is in far worse financial condition than is actually indicated," and therefore should not be used to explain the long-term outlook.

That way the Middle Class will not be a threat to the Elite that control Washington

Just my opinion but it seems that way to me.

Besides with Diebold machines in the election, our votes are already dead.

Do a google search for: "Clinton Curtis Testimony" on the vote flipping software Republican's asked him to create in Florida 2000 and what he says about tampering and fixing elections through Diebold

He said that it would flip the vote 51-49

Aren't we pretty much out of all options at this point? BushFraud says "we've never been stay the course" (whatever that means) but isn't funding the war without a plan just staying the course?

It is important for many reasons:

First and most important we need to know who was in charge of Security for the Trade Centers. We also need to know what kind of modifications were being done on certain emptied offices leading up to 9/11. We need to know the employee names of those builders and office renovators that were doing work on the 34th floor and other floors just days before 9/11.

We need to take a closer look at the Larry Silverstien insurance policy and records.

We need to take a look at Airline shares sold just before 9/11.

We need to know why bomb sniffing dogs were pulled from World Trade Center security just weeks before 9/11 and who authorized it.

We need to know why Israeli personel claimed they were in New York to document the attacks.

We need to know why chemical tests done on residue at the World Trade Centers showed the chemical compounds of Thermite, which is used in controlled demolitions.

My conviction is that a President is elected to lead. I believe a President should stick to his ideals and should not be swayed by popular opinion. Congress and the Senate is there to represent the people, a President is elected to be a leader and do what he believes is right.

Any thoughts?

The out cry about Sen Larry Craig (R) Idaho, is not the homosexual sex act itself, or cheating on his vowes with his wife, nor the public restroom. All of which are diplorable in their own right, but the problem is the hypocracy of his vehament constant anti-gay pronouncements, votes and actions against this particular minority for his own personal political gains.

He voted against his own people (yes therer are homosexuals in his own district) in the fight against even basic equal rights; the patriotic right to serve in the US military, and even the basic right to marry and raise their children in a loving, happy family. The only right he would allow was for the gays to pay their equal share of taxes.

The Democrats that are used to equate Craig's dispicable actions did not wave the Bible, wrap themselves in the flag, or preach discrimination.

Yes it is the hypocracy that he and his fellow Republicans have shown that we as a nation find abhorant. Agree ? Or disagree?

Yet even today white areas of Mississippi and other places went about their business of rebuilding their lives with out all the whiney, handout, hepme someone we keep getting from N.O. blacks. Have the black race been so brain controled by the Democrats that they are no longer able to do for themselves without Aunty Hillary giving them stuff? Has the Democratic destruction of their former slaves hit the point that black men feel they have to get the Dems to help them earn a living, hammer a nail et al? Republicans freed them once, if they want we can free them again, but they have to want to be FREE!!!!
