Yet even today white areas of Mississippi and other places went about their business of rebuilding their lives with out all the whiney, handout, hepme someone we keep getting from N.O. blacks. Have the black race been so brain controled by the Democrats that they are no longer able to do for themselves without Aunty Hillary giving them stuff? Has the Democratic destruction of their former slaves hit the point that black men feel they have to get the Dems to help them earn a living, hammer a nail et al? Republicans freed them once, if they want we can free them again, but they have to want to be FREE!!!!

That because most of the media coverage was in new Orleans.
It not just the blacks expecting handouts but since they are a minority they have gotten use to the better chance at jobs and just about anything else they get because they black.
But if they were illegal immigrants in the united states they would really get the handouts......

One of the stories that struck me was of the half way house men that hitched hiked all the way to Texas. They were a combo of drug rehab and mental patients but they were able to get themselves to Texas on their own. While others sat and demand someone get them a freaking "taxi". To bad the idiot they re-elected didn't get those buses moving before they flooded perhaps they wouldn't have had to wait so long.

New Orleans deserves the money for rebuilding and it is a governmental function transcending party affiliations.
