I keep seeing libs claim that larry craig "pled guilty", and is not trying to change his story.

That is half true. He pled guilty to disorderly conduct, not anything sexual.

I don't put it past a congressman to be a sexual deviant, but I also don't put it past a cop to take a bribe to set up a politician. Isn't it strange that a newspaper was accusing him of this same activity when this took place?

He pled guilty to disorderly conduct, which could be arguing with the cop. There was obviously not enough evidence to support the cops claims (which may be true).

If it were up to me, I would throw him on a lie detector, and if he is lying, kick him out of office, and if the cop is lying, throw his butt in jail, along with whoever put him up to it.

But the bottom line is, only two people know what happened that day. So libs, get over it. It's over, and it's not the case of the century.

Given the current state of the economy, is it fair for conservatives to say that if the congress and white house are Democratically controlled in the next ellection. That they would raise taxes and forceing the US into a resssion?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did we not have a fairly good economy under the Clinton Administration? I still wonder how we are gonna pay for this conflict in Iraq n without rasing taxes, don't you?

Can anyone help me out on this paradox?

They are showing toilets on T.V. while they discuss Larry Craig's prospects for re-election. Is his career really in the toilet? How humilitating it must be for Larry Craig to have his good name dragged through the toilet stalls for political purposes.

The most efficient one, in my humble opinion is to send our brave and blatant Rumsfeld and Dick to Iraq. WHY?

Remember Rumsfeld convinced you he knew exactly where those WMDs are located?? Isn't it what this war is all about?

While Cheney smartly denounced that Iraqis will welcome him as a liberator thus will emerge with hugs, kisses and flowers?

These two heroes, I believe will get the job done effectively!

Please share your thoughts!

Top 5% by year

Bush- In 2004 the top 5% of tax earners payed 57.13% of all taxes collected.
Clinton- In 1999 the top 5% of tax earnes payed 55.45% of all taxes collected.

See a trend here democrats??? I am tired of all the democrats saying the rich don't pay any taxes.

In 2004 the bottom 50% paid in 3.30% of all taxes collected and in 1999 under Clinton 4.0%
See a Trend, I do
Under a republican president the rich pay more and under a democrat the poor pay more!!!

how do you explain this libs. He's been fundraising for years for her. As a group screaming about morals and hypocricy an explanation is in order. And don't try saying Hillery is ignorant. That is a lame excuse because a simple background check would have found this out.

My point is simply that as long as you think like the liberal party and have a purpose you can do what you want and even be rewarded. I surely would like to know why?

All Sen. Craig was doing was trying to get some love from across the wall. Didn't Dionne Warwick sing "What the world needs now is love, sweet love" Why does it matter if you get love and comfort in a private bathroom stall in a public restroom than a private bedroom. I mean, it wasn't like he was gonna moan and bother someone.

Because now people who were not politically motivated or involved in politics in any way are now some of the biggest truth activists.

Because of the 9/11 conspriacy and other issues like torture and wiretapping, it raised questions and awareness about the honesty and integrity of our Government - the Government is now under a massive microscope!

Is that the reason for the the Dictorial laws Bush signed into place for himself?

Is that why they are trying so hard to get Martial Law

Because they predicted this might happen and they are scared of the rising and growing dissent across our Nation?

They can run but they can't hide!

They made everyone look and now they are paying for it!

No lie ever goes away until the light of truth shines upon it!

CEO pay and benefits on the rise: report

"At the same time, workers at the bottom rung of the U.S. economy received the first federal minimum wage increase in a decade. But the new wage of $5.85 an hour, after being adjusted for inflation, stands 7 percent below where the minimum wage stood a decade ago."

""CEO pay, over that same decade, has increased by roughly 45 percent," the study found.""

What concerns me is that the Bush Administration seems to be heavyhanded when it comes to our rights, as the firings of the "non-republican" Attorney generals showed.

Are democrats or even republican opposers in this country are prone to being harrassed or arrested under his presidency?

I do oppose Bush for what I see are lies, misconceptions, and hypocrisy. And because I am a democrat, I feel that I am more likely to be harrassed than if I were a republican.

Does anyone else feel this way?
