This question was sarcasm. I listed "high expectations" that I though any reasonable person would consider reasonable expectations. But war supporters agreed with my sarcasm that they were too high of expectations. Do war supporters really think that these are high expectations for Iraq? And is it sad that the anti-war crowd has come to expect pro-war people to not have reasonable expectations?

I think you have little knowledge of what to expect in war. War is chaotic and mostly uncontrollable. You can't make promises because you can't guarantee you can deliver them.

My expectations: I have little hope that Bush and his cronies will do anything that has any impact. I hope that in 2009, a new leader will provide new direction that can reasonably end the conflict on terms that liberals and conservatives can accept: namely a victory and a redeployment back to the US.

I hope contracts are stopped ASAP and that wasteful spending is conserved as much as possible.

I hope that Iraq starts realizing how democracy works and finds a way to engage all its people in the process.

I gather you've never been a member of a military branch.

Oh, and the question was spam, not sarcasm.
