Now we are losing our Nation.

What was the point of that?

I believe that to condone the use of torture is to render oneself liable to torture.
Those at present subject to torture are predominately 'suspects'. As the person subjected to torture is, in the end, prepared to say whatever he thinks the interrogator wants to hear, he may well implicate you. You as a suspect are then liable to torture.

I could expand on this but I think it conveys my general reasoning.

Can any of you convince me that torture should be used as an implement of state policy.

I see mixing chemicals is a drug but rolling this herb into a cigarette and smoking it does not seem to be a problem. Drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes are more harmful to the body than smoking a joint.

Like if someone owed him a favor or if he pardoned someone and in return they let him pitch a game and it turned out he's got a wicked curve and a fastball that topped out at 102 mph and his command was just spot on. Would it matter if he pitched against one of the better teams or not?

Well there goes our right to protest the war. BushFraud supporters, flag wavers and war cheerleaders are going to have a field day with these orders.

There are those who make money out of the people who hate him.

And, those who gets entertained by these people who constantly complain.

What's really the point of complaining when you guys didn't go out and vote in the first place. Too busy watching tv? Let me guess, one sided shows by people who hates Bush?

1.Everyday Liberals on TV, in the Newspapers, or on this site are always demanding the withdrawal of American Troops from Iraq. In the same breath they talk about how we should send Troops Dufar. Why is the Civil War in Dufar more important than stopping the Sectarian violence in Iraq?

(The reason why it is sectarian violence in Iraq is because it mostly revenges of the Shiites to the Sunnis for the years they we persecuted under Saddam, and vice versa. Dufar is a Civil War because one group, or actually tribe, is trying to take over the whole government.)

2.I read daily on this site where people are saying the President is taking away Constitutional Rights. Please cite specific examples on how you are less free now than you were before September 11?

(Also if you do not have any examples of how it has affected you directly, please talk about what all Constitutional Rights were taken from American Citizens during the American Civil War by President Lincoln.)

Thank you

Maybe she like her husband will cut funding and cripple our armed forces so our enemies will attack us, therefore bringing a new reality to war on the homefront? We will be attacked again and it will eventually be alot worse than 911. Hopefully their will be a new value placed on national security before a stronger country than ours takes us over and enslaves all of the US citizens. Go ahead and vote for Hillary. Maybe it is in all of our best interests. Kapeesh?

Considering all the terrorist attacks that have taken place around the world, and the fact that the majority of them were commited by the same race and religion....

(This is NOT about racial profiling for normal law enforcement, we're talking about terrorism now, not domestic crime.)

On a macro level it appears rather robust with growth at 2.1%.

BUT for medium and small businesses costs are escalating. This is a major worry as these sectors are the most economically robust and provide the greatest employment.
Contrary to all government propaganda- small and medium sioze businesses employ far more people than corporations, contribute far more revenue and are not subsidised anywhere near as heavily

Furthermore, CPI and RPI indexes are higher than the EU, wages are Negative in real growth so far this year (4.0%well below retail price inflation of 4.5%+ in April) + rising food prices reducing income for mortgage. Annual food price inflation reached 6.0% in April, highest in 6 years."

HPI has it 10%, slightly down and we have a new national historic house price high, most especially when expressed as a ration of real earnings.
Interest rates are predicted to rise 0.25% in 2007.

Thus- very unhealthy prospects for all consumer based economy.

Your thoughts?

I, for many years, have sought to find the answer as to why our Government (U.S.) has never done anything to be independent of oil reserves in the Mid-East, and othe rogue countries. From Pip-Squick Carter to present, the U.S. Government has shied away from anything to do with independency in oil. It results in our paying trillions of dollars for oil in foreign lands and a very large part of that revenue is used to buy weapons to kill Americans and to create havoc in other Democratic governments. What is it that the American Government is attempting to achieve? Is it all money for individuals running the government? Any ideas?

They do me...

If you say something bad about Bush...you are a liberal wackjob...

If you say something bad abobut that socialist Clinton...you are a conservative freak.

Why are people on the forum so set on you are either A) liberal democrat or B) conservative republican?

Don't people on here realize that there ARE people in this country that don't buy into either parties' line of BS?

Obviously all the two "major" parties are concerned about is appeasing big business. Furthermore, when you really look at it both have been watered down to the point of being the same. As our government grows larger, our rights as citizens diminish in the process (this has been amplified 100x since 911). What will it take for a third party that actual upholds the constitution (instead of warping it to fulfill their own agendas) to rise to power? Is there any hope for a true democracy in the United States as envisioned by our fore-fathers? I love my country with all my heart, but it sickens me to see the bastardization of democracy under the guise of "freedom". We're not as free as we may think. I cringe every time I hear “homeland security” it’s eerily similar to Nazi “Heimatland” propaganda. How can we return our government to a Jeffersonian system with strict interpretation of our constitution, and a central government with greatly constrained powers without violence?
