Apparently by the answers provided here there are a lot of people that are proud of the fact. I am sorry your honest question is being so distorted by people who ridicule you rather then giving you the honest answer you were looking ofr.

If we were to exprapolate the numbers it would appear that 80% of the people are happy we have done so. This of course bodes well for the president his croonies as they continue to march toward fulfilling his daddys dream of a new world order.

The immigration decision will eventually get through congress - it has to in order to get the superhighway going

The socialized medicine issue will get through congress - it has to inorder for canada to join the NAU

The amero will become the new currency - it has to in order to turn back the inflation clock on our moneytary system

The UN will begin having troops stationed in US the soon - it has to otherwise there is no ligitimate troop formation across a NAU - seperate states cannot have their own troops- if they did the NAU would fall apart

Why dont people see this?? I have no idea
Why are they proud this is coming? I have no idea

But you asked the right question - unfortunately closed minded people who dont see or refuse to see are answering - not to worry - the truth will show its ugly head in due time - then people will either need to shut up or put up

The enevitable is coming - i hope those that are happy with the current realm of things are preparing for the upcoming downfall before its too late

I rest assured that I have done no such thing. I voted Republican in 2000 and in 2004 and in 2006.

I will grant you that perhaps we have exchanged the Constitution for a Speaker of the House. Her trip to Syria to exercise diplomacy between Israel and Syria was beyond her powers granted to her in the Constitution of the United States. Only the executive branch has diplomacy powers granted by the Constitution of the United States.

But according to Democrats, Speaker Pelosi is above the law.

As was President Bill Clinton in 1998.

My vote for Bush put the Constitution back in its place.

We haven't done that.

The Democrats in Congress are wanting to raise Red Herrings over the firing of 8 US Attorneys. They didn't say a damn thing when Clinton fired EVERY US Arttorney when he took office.

US Attorneys may be fired at any time for any reason by the President. They serve at the pleasure of the President. THAT is in the Constitution.

What you are seeing is nothing more than political grandstanding by the Democrats. So give it a rest. the President has not usurped the Constitution.

Democrats in Congress are the ones who want to usurp the Constitution in forcing the President to justify the firings.

I wish the people who disagreed with you, the people who called you nut job and the ones who say 'I can't think of anything' regarding these violations of the constitution, why don't they ever argue the points that the other side raises? Instead they either ignore the points or resort to ridicule. I like ridicule myself, but only if the facts are not in dispute. For example, I might ridicule Bush about being a dictator, because he admitted to eavesdropping on calls without a warrant, which is a clear violation of the FISA laws. But I would ridicule him on, say, high oil prices or social security reform, which are complex issues and there is little agreement.

We've done no such thing. So he commuted a man's sentence, big deal! How many did his predecessor pardon, as in let off the hook altogether? And there's nothing unconstitutional about it! Where do you think the president's power to pardon and commute sentences comes from? And if Gitmo is what you're kvetching about, remember that during WW II, when a Nazi U-boat landed commandos in NJ, they were rounded up by the FBI, tried by a military tribunal, and executed, right here on our shores, not in Cuba! Whatever this president has done, his predecessors have done the same or far worse, so kwitcherbitchin!

How is he above the law? He is above the law because he is exercising his executive powers? What exactly makes him above the law? If he is above the law, then we only have the constitution to blame............

Hey how is that work coming along taking out the 1st, 2nd, and 13th amendment? Don't you dare talk about what you think this President is doing in time of war.

Has anyone heard when we will be getting the revised copy in the mail? I have the one written by the Delegates of the Philadelphia Convention, but it's not good anymore.
