Should i veto this resolution regarding the expansion of the role and contribution of women in the United Nations field-based operations, including at the decision-making level, and especially among military observers and civilian police?

According to one study, there are over 80 million Americans between the ages of 26-46 (born from 1961-1981) that make up my generation, the so called Gen-X, or 13th gen.

Considering we still tune out (lowest voting rates) in politics, rarely vote, have only a 14% national leadership share (Gen X in the House, Senate, and Governors) where other generations were higher when they were at the same age..

Can America afford to have this generation ignore its responsibility to participate more, and can this generation afford ignoring its responsibility?

For the record, I vote. But I understand why so many people my age don't.

Not interested in hearing answers about Gen X being spoiled and whiners, because that argument also applies to older and younger generations as well, for different reasons.

Embarassing, cranky old Republican dope, Sen. Inhofe from Oklahoma, got a good old fashioned *****-slapping in the Senate last week. The whiny dork kept asking Gore questions and trying to interrupt him 15 seconds into the answer. Sen. Barbara Boxer finally had to step in and make it clear who the boss is.

Only criminals in my mind. From the popularity of American idol, I would guess the desire to be famous and have the media put your life on the big screen is in the majority. The IRS, phone companies, ISPs and insurance companies have everything anyway. What else is there?

Everyone with half a clue knows Bush is nothing but a puppet; a stooge they just put out there because he has been able to dupe people into voting for him, but with no real power or credibility. I think Dan Quale was just a test run for Bush Jr.

Hubby and I were watching the telly last night and an advert for these plug in, light up all singing and dancing air fresheners came on.

Amid comments like 'what on earth?' and 'why would you want a light?' hubby noted that he thought we were supposed to be lowering carbon emmissions-hence the new tax on cars-and it seemed ridiculous that hundreds of millions of households are plugging in let's say 3 or 4 air fresheners each completely unhindered by government policy.

Just out of interest how many of you guys have them(not necessarily with lights) and what are your thoughts-especially if you're keen to be green!

and I don't like Bush.

Clinton= Socialist ideologically driven- learn from UK's Blair USA!

Obama- devious and secretive with his Islamic past-
- attended the 100% Muslim Indonesian State Primary School- Sekolah Dasar- Negeri no. 04- which has ZERO Christian attendance, as it caters for mainly poorer and local indigenous Indonesians who are 90%+ Muslim (not extremists admittedly).

Furthermore- any Indonesian pupil must have a 'KTP' (an Indonesian ID card) which, in order to bear, the bearer is required by Constitutional law to have one of the 5 state sanctioned religions- Hindu, Buddhism, Protestant, Catholic or Islam.

Further- (according to a very good friend married to an Indonesia & living near this school) in Jakarta (suburb of Lebak Bulus, Cilandak district) HAS received at least some Saudi funding-
but of course is no documentation as the school officials don't wish to be sacked for their graft of state funding.

Obama- AMERICAN interests at heart or Kenyan Islamicists?

The Vichy French were the French that accepted defeat prior to the actual end of WW2 and worked with the Nazi's. In Our case there is a host of Americans that Accept defeat on any and all fronts and would probably work with the enemy be they Communist China or Radical Islamists.

For those of you that do not Know me I am in the US Army in Iraq. I joined after seeing the second plane hit the WTC and Lost my Uncle PAPD that day. I do not Blame Iraq for 9/11. I am here because My commander sent me here and I do my job well. on weekends I help out at the Local "childrens wing" of the Hospital. I think the Vichy moniker fits as some Libs do not fit the Commie moniker completely (although many do).
